Location is fair enough. The rooms are extremely loud and you can hear every movement in the hallway between the rooms. The shower "box" does not have a door, so the floor is flooded completely everytime someone takes a shower. The shower gel pump was broken, so I unscrewed it and put it on the bathroom shelf for housekeeping to notice. They ignored it completely. The water pressure is very, very poor. The wc doesn't flush well. The lamp swictches remain a mystery even after two nights in the room.
As I was travelling for business, with a very tight schedule, there is no way one can run to the front desk everytime a new problem occurs.
Sorry, this is simply not good enough. Especially when the price is well above average for the area.

Hotel Notting Hill was amazing. The hotel was beautiful! Our room was amazing - very large with a large bathroom. The hotel and our room was very very clean. Reception staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful with eating suggestions, transportation and directions. I will definitely stay there again!!

Good location slightly away from the city centre. It is a 20 minute walk to the museum quarter and the tram stop is across the road from the hotel, line 4 takes you to the centre in about 15 minutes. Plenty of restaurants also close by. The hotel itself is clean, the beds/pillows are very comfortable and the shower was great. It was handy that the hotel provide umbrellas. The lift was out of order during our stay which was inconvenient having to carry luggage up to the third floor. The breakfast was basic and the quality was average but it had sufficient choice to please everybody. I stayed on the third floor in a double room which was spacious and quiet. I would stay here again providing I had the same room as some of the other rooms are smaller and don't have windows.

Great hotel, 1st time in Amsterdam and not sure where to stay.. look no further than Notting Hill. Location was perfect for walking to all of the many hot spots in the city. Clean rooms, great showers and comfy beds. Can’t ask for much more - would stay again in a heartbeat 10/10 experience.

Great service from the staff, and a very comfortable bed. However, there was black mold in the shower, and the ventilator was giving off a low humming all night. I think the price was much too high for the standard.

This is a beautiful “boutique” feeling hotel. Our check in was amazing. Very friendly and informative process. The room was very clean, and very comfortable. Highly recommend this amazing hotel in a location that’s is easily accessible to all the hot spots in Amsterdam.

Nice property, nice room UNDERGROUND, staff don't care for travellers, staff left our room UNLOCKED, DOOR OPEN ALL DAY,gave us coffee making facilities i had to ask for milk 3 times???and roadworks outside our room windows (not they're fault)look elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel! First time visiting Amsterdam and the staff were very friendly and helpful with providing maps for nearby restaurants or things to do! The rooms are beautiful as well and spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel vibes were good. We were greeted by Sally and Caylin. They were so friendly. There’s one thing we did not like which is the lift was so slow and unfortunately we were staying at the underground level. The hotel was near to tourist attraction such as Albert Cyrupt Market,etc.

This was a great stay. The staff was attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Our room was beautiful. We had a minor issue and it was addressed immediately.

I accidentally booked this hotel twice on both ends of a trip that started and ended in Amsterdam. I’m glad I did! The property is nice, clean, and comfortable. The beds were unbelievably comfortable! The location is great — close to everything I wanted to do and close to public transit but quiet and peaceful. Theres a park nearby I particularly enjoyed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t notice much noise from other guests, either. My only complaint is that my first room was garden level and the bathroom was weird. The shower didn’t have a sill so the water got all over the bathroom floor.

A clean, modern hotel with comfortable furnishings and beds. Good shower. The only issue was that the bathroom fan didn’t seem to turn off but we managed to sleep through it. Great location for the museums. Picturesque walk into the central, busier part of Amsterdam, but that suited us and there was still lots of choice on restaurants and bars without having to be in the very busy areas.

The hotel was located in a perfect spot !! We love to walk so it was definitely doable to make it to all the sites via foot ! But it did look like they had transportation available if needed ! The room was very nice , the breakfast was yummy and we would definitely stay there again !!

I do not think this is a 4 start hotel. They do not even help you with your bags and you have to go up stairs with them to enter. They say there a watched me struggle. The shower didn’t work well and you can hear neighbors easily. They also have no room service and were rude when I asked for a bottle of water. Location is great and it is clean and safe but not 4 stars.

It is a very good located hotel for any activities in the city of Amsterdam and close to the most important museums. It is nice and clean and quite new. The only downside is that it is a bit noisy but likely nothing you can avoid in the city of Amstwedam. I recommend earplugs.
