Carpet had stains, furniture scratched up, loose plug ins and no microwave. Overall condition of room didn't reflect price.

The hotel was fine. However, we reserved a suite and while the main bed was nice, the pull out sofa was really bad. Only a twin but worse, lowest quality mattress possible. Also there was no privacy and no space. It was like they took a regular sized room and threw a low quality hide a bed in. Poor form from the Marriott chain

What's not to like? Friendly staff, lots of outlets and charging ports, checkout at noon (not like other hotels) Good breakfast. 3 miles from the event we were attending.Easy on and off the highway. Woud definitely stay there again.

It was a nice room. I stayed in a suite. The room was nice, but the tiles were loose in the bathroom. Otherwise it was a nice room.

The room looked a bit outdated, and I run hot, so I need to be cold in the room. The air conditioning was turned to its lowest possible temperature (58 degrees) but it, as well as the fan couldn't compete with the hot, September humidity.
So imagine my surprise when I fully opened my large, second-floor window to see NO SCREEN in it. It is no big deal for me because I am not a curious child. Luckily, no mosquitos, bats or owls visited us during the night.
Believe it or not, the bed was VERY comfortable. And I hate hotel beds! The bathtub's shower head had several settings and was wonderful. The room was clean, the towels were numerous as was the shampoo, body wash and conditioner.
The breakfast included scrambled eggs, individually made waffles with maple syrup AND blueberry syrup, pork and turkey patty style sausages, bagels, toast, scones, cereal, etc. It was wonderful.
We will go back!

My recent stay at the Fairfield hotel in Fenton, Michigan left much to be desired. The room's outdated decor transported me back in time, and the bathroom's grimy grout was a clear sign of neglect. Despite claiming to offer a wired internet connection for business needs, the front desk informed me they no longer provided this service, contradicting their listing. The unreliable Wi-Fi they did offer was frustratingly slow, and the staff's lack of concern was evident when the manager conveniently left for the night. Overall, the Fairfield hotel failed to meet basic expectations of cleanliness, amenities, and customer service. I strongly recommend considering other options for a more satisfactory stay.

Room not clean, dirty wash rag left on the shower curtain, housekeeping never made the bed. No toilet paper. None. Breakfast bar was awful.

The water for the shower was cold. They gave us a different room to shower in and that water was cold. We left without showering and they refunded us via Expedia a measly $40 for our inconvenience. Not being able to shower is kind of a big deal. I still spent more on this hotel with no hot water than I would have for the Comfort Inn, and I could have had the basic necessity of hot water in a shower. What a joke.

There was nothing special about this facility, but for an overnight stay while visit friends it did the job. The grounds were very unkempt and full of weeds. Not welcoming in that regard.

I had chosen this hotel because it had a pool and the price quoted online was reasonable. When I arrived, I learned the pool was being worked on and would be closed for several days. I also learned the price of the room was nearly double what I had anticipated.

A couple of things I had problems with there was no seat in the bathtub for the handicap, and they charged me twice for the stay. I did get refunded but I could have been overdrawn. My bank would then charge me for overdrawn fees.

When I first attempted to check in there was a sign saying there was an emergency in another room, a leaking toilet. I got there at 6:20pm and waited till 7:20pm, no one ever showed up by then my friends came back from dinner and I put my stuff in there room till I could check in later. Once I got my room the bathroom was dirty, shower, toilet, and floor. The floor had brown and red stains, let’s just say didn’t give the impression of chocolate or wine. I asked for a manager to call me multiple times the following week wasn’t till 4 days after my trip. Upon checking out breakfast was not ready at 7:30am when they say 7am is breakfast. For the amount of money I paid didn’t expect this to be like this.

The pool was small, there was dead bugs all over the floor on the one side. There was dirty bandage on a table. The amount of rust showing on everything metal in the pool area and in the bathroom…. In the tub the metal that closes so you can fill the tub was full of rust. The paint was peeling and coming off in the bathroom. Looked like there was water damage that was never repaired. Or maybe at one point painting and instead of removed properly and fixing the area. However, the shower had amazing pressure, and was nice and hot. They had gluten free options as well as a dairy alternative milk. Staff was nice…. If you could find them.
