Lovely room with huge balcony in the newly built part of hotel. Nice breakfast option, simple continental but all you need. Great location over looking beach. A kettle / tea coffee in room would be good. Also a parasol on the balcony

Not sure if it’s a family’s hotel or not, because if it’s then I understand why they have this strange policy. The best thing about it is the view, but the service wasn’t great. No coffee, tea or mini bar in the room. Rooms were small, but clean with not very comfy bed. Breakfast was very basic. Staff don’t speak English, except Philippa, she was awesome.

We were a little disappointed with the room. The bed was very hard, but we did get a “topper” for the second night. The AC was not cooling, but it was fixed. Apparently 4 rooms are grouped in the same system, and if one room sets to “heat” it affects the other 3. When we entered the hotel we noticed a particular smell. It became evident that it was from a bug spray, as we had a problem with ants in the room. Our room was not swept when it was cleaned. We were charged €1.50 per day for the room safe. Breakfast was skimpy, but what you’d expect from a 3* hotel. There were no hot or fish options. The WiFi was fine, but open access. The best part of the hotel was Filipa, the receptionist. She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and available. Parking is at an absolute premium. There are a few spots across the street, but if you don’t get one it’s an adventure.

Close to the beach and restaurant but far enough away from the nightlife for peace and quiet.

The property is well located and easy to get to things. Front desk staff were lovely and helpful. Afternoon bartender was kind of rude. For ladies traveling without a blow dryer this is the first place that had one built in that was so old and just not useful. Time for them to update that!!

I can't say enough good things about this property. It was conveniently located by the beach, shops, parking was easy. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a first floor bedroom and felt safe enough to keep the sea-facing door open all night to feel the breeze and listen to the waves crashing outside. Sunrises from the balcony were surreal. I will be back someday!

Awesome property with a beautiful view of the ocean. The place was very clean and the staff were wonderful. They made us feel very welcome and the bonus is everything is within walking distance.

Great location,friendly and helpful staff and very clean,only minor negative was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

It’s better to get one of the ocean view rooms.

Overall this is a fabulous hotel. It was clean, safe, great location, and good service, with the exception of one issue. The owner did not want to give out ice. We encountered other guests that had the same problem. When I asked the owner for some ice she said it was for their use only. WHAT??? I wanted a glass of ice. This is not acceptable. I asked again the next day and was told I could have it once then would have to buy it. I was given 3 small single ice cubes, and they have an ice machine! After talking to other guests that had the same problem it was because the owner wanted us to buy their alcohol. No way! I would rather go to the bar next door and spend my money, not cool.

Amazing view, amazing stay, can't beat the location. Overall good breakfast and starts earier then most from what I hear. Great location as its safe, close to everything but quiet so you can sleep. I highly recommend this hotel.

The view from the seaside rooms is unbelievable, so pretty. The patio area with the pool is small but all the guests were as friendly as the staff. We had a fantastic time, could not pick a better place for this price. The hotel is up hill but a little quieter because of that I think. Walkable distance to the main streets and the marina, but midday is very hot so a taxi and tuk tuk are a little more comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Lovely staff always trying to be helpful. Amazing continental breakfast each morning, very fresh and with wonderful fruits and baked goods.

I want to give great thanks to Madalena, Sônia and Elizabeth for our stay at Vila São Vicente! They were so kind and helpful. They greeted us at every interaction. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious as well. I would like to recommend your hotel to others and absolutely would enjoy returning one day. It was a pleasurable experience all around. The views of the beach from the hotel are undeniably perfection!

Hotel was great but noisy we had a room on road side with lots of noisy foot traffic on there way home from the old town

Cosy hotel perfect situeted close to old town and as mentioned by others lovely breakfast terrace facing the sea But, staff seemed totally confused. Booked room with terrace. Got room with smallest ever balcony place for two plastic chairs only Lots of complaints about no hot water. Three days with cold to luke warm water No compensation or excuse what so ever. Only continental breakfast, no scrambeled eggs etc. Signs everywere with does and donts as if we were small naughty children not " adults only" Finally ordered transport to Olhao by the hotel. But driver was instructed by the hotel to drive to Faro airport. Another confusion. Concludion is with the right management this place would be a gem

Nice hotel, central, I had a couple of minor niggles. At over €100 for the night (perhaps they have better deals at different times of the year) I would have expected a bottle of water in the room, tissues and more choice at breakfast. Having said that the room was compact but pleasant and the breakfast terrace has a lovely view and catches the morning sun.
