Generally my stay was fine, the showers are very small and the breakfasts simple. I am not sure of i would stay there again.

we spent a long weekend beginning of September 2024, staying in a deluxe four poster room. The room was spacious but the carpet a bit grubby because it was a dog friendly room (we took our dog). Hotel is very dog friendly which we appreciated and each morning she was given her own sausage to eat which was very kind :). Hotel is conveniently situated on the Coast Road so we were easily able to get to Overstrand, Cromer and down to Bacton and Walcott. It was quiet and the bed was clean and comfortable. Would visit again!

Excellent staff except in the dining area, the chef left the job on the day so good they carried on.
Getting in and out of shower and bed was not designed very well for older people in our room.
Public rooms were popular and well thought yet enough room for a quiet space. We just used it for a night to wind down from work before a week in holiday accommodation. This worked well for us and avoided the heavy weekend traffic

Hotel was nice and clean breakfast area lovely but I think rooms could do with a little updating for the price there charge carpet gruppy with stains .main light didn’t work lamp shade all dented very little toiletries one tiny bottle to share with 2 . Basic. Otherwise very nice and friendly welcoming staff

There were so many stairs (it does say there are stairs but it was an exceptional amount). No lift which it stated but with arthritis it was very difficult and uncomfortable going up and down several staircases to get to the room. Even the ladies toilet was upstairs - although I found a disabled toilet on the ground floor when I went to breakfast. It would have been good to know about it on arrival. The room was very nice although a little in need of sprucing up.

Shower cubicle was a joke , the shower wasn’t adjustable and was positioned to hit the enclosure rather than your body .
The adjustable rails was all dismantled .

Location amazing, exactly what we wanted being 3 min walk from beach. Breakfast was lovely. Large room and bathroom. Only negative comment is we were situated near a fan which ran all night.

Very disappointed in our stay. We had a bathroom that was filthy with black mouldsThe carpets in the room very dirt and not hoovered the shower didn’t work well. We had to leave early for our Macmillan hike and a pa Jed breakfast. The. Bacon say we ordered. The bacon was raw.
I will not recommend to anyone. Not worth anything especially the price staying there

A little slow checking in, short staffed. Room was tired and wasn’t as clean as it could be.
Shaving hairs in bath cobwebs, lipstick mark on cup and sheet marked.
Breakfast was lovely staff were polite. Couldn’t fault portion size and piping hot.

Bar was nice and again staff helpful and friendly as were the local customers.
We had dinner and that was very nice too very large portions. Again the service was very quick and the staff were polite and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room was extremely nice.
Hotel was hang for Cromer and the surrounding area.
Loved our stay and if we visit the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

It was an OK stay. Hotel was clean though all a little dated. A little overpriced for what you get. The menu lacked in smaller less expensive snack type meals.

We found the hotel was not very efficient, especially has I am vegetarian. Breakfast menu does not have vegetarian option. Staff wasn’t ready at breakfast time. Stay was quiet. I went with my wife, lady who booked us in assumed we wanted two rooms so in my opinion not lesbian or gay friendly. Wouldn’t go again

Needed to visit a family member locally, only stayed one night but staff were great, really helpful with local dire tions and our stay.
Room great size, lovely and clean, bed really confy got a good night sleep.
