Great location for families. There were concerts in the park next door each night and we couldn’t hear a thing with the windows closed (great if you have kids). Close to tram, ferry & bus stops into other parts of town.

Great hotel in Stockholm next to the ABBA museum. Easy access to public transportation

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked inside. Anthony, who checked us in was very polite and thorough and took the time to show us were to park our car and also inform us about the freshly made breakfast!

Amazing breakfast spread

Great location for all the tourist attractions, museums etc… right outside you can get the number 7 tram into the city or boat across the harbour. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. If you’re an Abba fan… definitely visit the abba museum in the hotel… even if you’re not it’s great fun.

Everything was lovely. Very convenient for the Visa museum. Only problem was the shower which was over the bathtub. Getting in and out was DANGEROUS. The shower screen did not stop water from flooding the bathroom floor. This made the floor slippery and dangerous

As always, The crew of this property has got the stay covered. Super friendly reception, great breakfast and love the little music box in the room. A well stocked minibar and little things make this my go to hotel when in stockholm. On the island of Djurgården so peaceful and quiet, now off season. Easy to get to city centre with tram or ferry (to Nybroplan or Söder). Can only give this a strong recommendation if you are looking for few nights stay in Stockholm.

The reception at night didn’t give a clear instruction on how we park our car when we already arrived very late. He can’t speak English very well so we can’t communicate smoothly. Also, the reception at daytime was not keen in answering our questions, which was not we expect for a “four-star” hotel.

This is a really nice boutique hotel with incredibly friendly , knowledgeable and helpful staff. At first glance I thought it would be too noisy being above the ABBA museum but is one of the quieter hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner menu featured very good local fare. Try the meatballs and the fish stew.

I always stay at Backstage when I visit Stockholm (2x/month). GREAT breakfast, beds are so comfortable, and love the bathtub!!

You feel like a guest and at home. Its location allows you to be next to Stockholm but in the suburbs. Local trails and walks are outside the door. A city ferry gets you to the old toen in 20 minutes.

What a beauty hotel with a prefect location to museums and fun park. Easy access by public transport

my family was happy living in this hotel. this hotel is ideally located to walk with children in parks and go to museums. breakfast is excellent.

Phenomenal staff. Great breakfast. Only steps from the tram and a ferry. Stockholm is much smaller than I anticipated so it was very easy to walk everywhere or take public transportation.

Room I got was very disappointed with small dark depressing, I complained and was given a better room no hot food unless you go to nearby cafes no guests lounge no bar no room service, breakfast was a spoonful of cold scrambled eggs, cold burnt rasher if bacon , very disappointed a real let down I had waited a year for .

I love staying here. While I'm treated like an honored guest, it also feels like home.

Highly recommended place to stay. Staff are amazing, thank you Anthony for extending my room for an hour so I could relax before going to the airport. I stayed in the ABBA Gold suite, which was magical. Definitely made this stay a little bit more special.

Really cool hotel next to Abba Museum. Room was huge. Location was out of centre but easy tram ride. Price was great. The meal I had downstairs was amazing albeit pricey. Stockholm not a cheap city but if you look slightly out of the center you can find decent gems like this one!

A well-designed hotel that is surprisingly quiet despite being next to an amusement park and over the ABBA Museum. Great area, nice staff and an easy bike ride to most interesting areas of Stockholm. My only quibble is that it was difficult to find a place to park my bike. Luckily I was able to take it into my room, even though the staff didn’t offer me that option.

Excellent location for walking access to ABBA museum, Skansen, Gröna Lund, or nearby Vasa / Nordic museums. Somewhat distant (walking) to the city restaurant hubs and old town.

Of course the restaurant is under renovation so we had to visit the neighbouring hotel for breakfast which was just so-so. The room is very big and comfortable. The bathroom is nice. I will give 5 stars however for service. Staff are very friendly and conversational, and always ready to help. They mentioned they are making improvements and adding furniture - to that I will add the suggestion that our room only had one bedside table instead of one on each side of the bed. That could be an improvement. Otherwise really satisfied and it was a good experience.
