amazing staff and food and sonehow atmosphere (both relaxing and tranquil and also exciting with reataurant with live music and casino in lobby). made it feel like you could really do a staycation for a week and never have to leave the hotel
ofc. La Divina Comida was rifht down the street, so have to leave the hotel for a couple of hours for that! (best restaurant in Costa Rica if not Central America).

Good hotel, remodeling was well done. Nice pool, good gym, nice rooms. But there is no room service!!! The restaurant is good, but they close early, kitchen closes around 9:40 pm. If you need food after that, gotta order from outside. Also beware that 18% gratuity charge is already included in restaurants’ check.

The property was very pretty and nice. The breakfast options were the same everyday. I wish they had chicken or vegetarian options. I requested a taxi take to us into the city and David at the front desk said it was $60. When the ride was over the taxi driver stated it was $160. There should be a paper or list of prices if the personnel doesn’t understand English or the question asked. The housekeeper Marie made sure we had fresh towels and rags everyday. A nice hotel with a nice view.

Quick trip to San José (we live on the coast) for errands and fun. All personnel were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The food was delicious at breakfast.
However, my family and I were very disappointed that we were not told of a Safari Party prior to us checking in. That was not the vibe of the hotel we were looking for. We were looking for quiet and comfortable like we have always experienced at this hotel in the past.
While we were told of the party the night of, there was nothing we could do at that point. It was difficult to navigate from the entrance to the elevators, and to the casino due to the large amount of people. Having been informed of this event prior to checking in, would have been very helpful.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Don’t stay on any floor above six as on weekends there is a disco which you could definitely hear on the seventh floor. Very affordable.

We spent our first and only night in San Jose here and our experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel is easy to find, about half an hour drive from the airport. Parking was included in the same building. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast had many options and also had a great view! The staff were friendly and courteous. We also had a delicious dinner in their rooftop restaurant. Something to note is that there is a Casino attached to the same building, but we were not interrupted.

Whenever we visit Costa Rica, we stay here. Logistically it makes the most sense for us. The staff is great and very friendly. The hotel is very well maintained.
Unfortunately for us this last visit, the breakfast buffet was not ready for its 6:00am opening. Our flights out of Costa Rica are quite early. In order for us to truly enjoy our breakfast before heading off to the airport, we need punctuality and readiness. This is the first time we experienced this, and it won't discourage us from booking here again, which we will be doing very soon

Beautiful hotel with best service. It is very quiet and a lot of restaurants nearby. The breakfast is excellent.

Two areas of concern : bank machine issues 40 $ of a 100$ withdrawal that no retailer would take because they were marked. the audit trail for the mini bar was non existent.
