I wasn't happy this time around. I had to ask for paper towel and toilet paper. There was hardly any dish soap and no dishwasher detergent. And I noticed a few rooms were not locked and they were partly opened.

In my room, black mold in the shower and on the shower curtain. I informed the staff I wanted a new shower curtain because I didn’t want to have to change hotels on my anniversary. Never happened. If possible, check the room before you pay, this is the most I paid for a dirty room in my life.

Great location, friendly afternoon/ evening staff, night / morning staff not as welcoming. Room was good except the bathroom it needs a good cleaning especially the shower.

Nothing around, can’t walk anywhere

I expected more from Homewood. I have no idea when the last time the shower was cleaned. Orange scum throughout and gunk around the drain. No shampoo or conditioner in the provided containers. My traveling companion and I arrived late on motorcycles and were too tired to lodge concerns upon arrival. Furthermore, the receptionist seemed to have zero interest in receiving us. We had better service, reception and cleanliness at the Best Western the night before! Next time I'm in the area, I'll think about staying elsewhere.

Convenient and clean

Everything went smoothly and everyone was kind. The room was clean and had great amenities.

amazing staff and amazing place. was striving for 15 hours straight and our new born needed a break they let us check in at 7 am so we didn’t have to keep driving till 3pm to find a hotel to stay the night. didn’t charge me a extra night like every other hotel tried

It was fine. A little creepy with no one in the hallway. Breakfast had small choices.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament so we were barely here, the hotel was very clean and overall great, I will say one of the receptionist made me feel like I was a pain for asking for bedding for the pull out couch it made us a little uncomfortable. Overall I would stay here again! Hopefully the pool is up and running next time!

Everthing was great

Right from check-in, this hotel was a disappointment. The check-in process was not warm of friendly, the staff did not provide any guidance that one would expect at check-in like where to go to get to your room, details about check-out, details on breakfast, etc. We did find out that there were additional $75 in fees for pets, which was not included in booking. We also found out that the pool was closed for unknown reasons. After reading other reviews, we expected an evening social. However, there was no such thing, even though a plaque on the wall said there would be. The rooms were spacious, but were not clean. For instance, I spilled some water on the floor, wiped it up, and the paper towel came back completely brown with dirt. The shampoo was empty in one of the bathrooms, and overall the room appeared to be unattended to with frumpy beds. Breakfast choices were minimal and/or empty and every coffee or tea that we had had to be reheated in our room. Even the outside of the property was unkempt with weeds everywhere and lack of lighting to even show where to enter the property. Needless to say, we will not be returning and do not recommend.

Our room had hair on the beds, also the ac unit wasn’t working properly. Felt like our room was cleaned or maintained prior to our arrival. I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

Walls are paper thin!! We could hear every word our neighbor was saying. We also had guests upstairs (children) that did nothing but run around at 11pm and it was terribly loud!!! Front desk was called and did absolutely nothing. Probably would not stay here again

Such a very nice place in a quiet area near shopping. This is my go-to place when in DuBois.

The property was right in the middle between the places we were going. The waste cans in the breakfast area were covered in food waste. Need bigger waste cans or a different type of lid.

This facility has so much potential. The suites are wonderful. First impression is a very nice property. Until you start looking around. Water machine in workout room - no cups. Employee did not know if it actually worked. Pool is closed. Employees have no idea when it will re open nor do they know what is wrong with it. Employees, for the most part were super helpful and very gracious. Several boxes for sanitizer wipes were all around the facility. None had any wipes. We were there 4 day and they were not refilled. Fairly nice food area - limited but adequate "supper" items each evening. Breakfasts were good. Coffee cups were super thin so carrying the cup was a juggling act to keep from being burned. No sleeves for them. For the most part it was clean. Elevator had issues. Scary. Employees said it has been like this for months. While suites are very nice - separate bedroom and bath, kitchenette, the walls are quite thin. Neighbors were just having normal conversation and we would hear every word. It was just a weird vibe because from the outside it looks so very nice. Would absolutely give it a much better rating on just employees and service . Such a shame.

Property is in a terrible state of dis-repair. We have stayed here multiple times and have all been fantastic. Hilton corporate needs to come in and do a complete overhaul. Baseboards are missing, elevators do not work - you have to call the front desk on a walkie to have the elevator sent up to get you. The toilet areas are not ADA-compliant. Blood was smeared on the walls, dirty towels were left in the shower and hair was in the shower stall. Hilton-Corporate, feel free to contact me.

The pool of the hotel was out of service, and in my 3 nights my room was not cleaned. During my check out manager told me that the cleaning room service needs to be asked for customer which was not informed to me when I checked in. In addition, the last day toilet was not working properly.

The hotel itself and hotel staff were great! Unfortunately we booked this hotel planning to swim but their pool is undergoing renovations so the kids were disappointed.

Maintenance of the grounds was very poor. There were thousands of cigarette butts on the sidewals and in the parking areas. Garbage sat in the outside seating/picnic ares for days.
