We love Holiday express hotels always
The hotel is located very conveniently, the staff was helpful. But the room had a bad smell which was very disturbing. We could smell on our clothes after leaving the place. Also breakfast was very basic they run out quickly of basic stuff

Front desk understaffed and checkin was slow due to the busy lobby. Staff onsite handled the situation extremely well.
Room toilet was plugged and wouldn’t drain so we had to plunge to rectify the problem.

Extremely dirty - hairs on the toilet, on the toiletries in the shower and in the bed. Leftover crumbs and drink stains on the tables in the room. The coffee table was black with dirt.

We were at the Holiday Inn Express Golden-Kicking Horse for three nights. We had a nice big room, with two queen beds, which were very comfortable. The room was clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast on the main floor was certainly substantial enough for the two of us. Parking was also great.

There were mosquitoes in room. They bit my 5 year kid and wife. When informed about this to front desk, didn’t it help and did nothing. They said booking was through Expedia and I have deal with them. When I contacted Expedia, they told that they contact Hotel and get you compensation. I have pictures too. I’ll upload them too.
At the end hotel refused and Expedia didn’t nothing. I do not recommend anyone to stay at this Hotel. Manager/ Owner wasn’t helpful either.
If Expedia can’t help us then there is no point booking through them.

The pool was a little too cold for me but the hot tub was nice. The breakfast was excellent and had great variety and it was fresh. The bad thing was the odd smell in the room. When we arrived at our next destination, all my clothes in my suitcase smelt like it. It wasn’t great at all and for that reason, I’ll never stay there again.
