You can hear everything going on in the room above yours. It being a family hotel, we could hear the kid above running around until midnight and begin again at 7am. We called the front desk to ask if they could ask them to reduce the banging and it just got worse from there.

Mark at the front desk was very warm and welcoming! He made our check in and out process quick and easy, and the breakfast was really good. I made myself a chocolate chip waffle and my partner had pancakes and eggs.

We stayed 8 days in the Hotel. One morning we had a firealarm. When we stepped out of the room we ran with our son in the wrong direction from the 3rd floor, as the closest exit sign was hidden behind a fixed block in the ceiling. Lucky us nothing serious happened, nevertheless I didn’t felt save. The braakfast was to noisy and only available till 9am. We been there on vacation and wanted to sleep a bit longer. Impossible as at 9 bread etc was already been taken away. We had to pay 250 CAD as the sheets been impacted by some stains, same stains been on our own blanket. After usual washing in the laundry they disappeared. Exchange of the sheets happend just once during our stay. We asked for clarification at our departure day and even after 1 week, as this amount is not fair, no reaction. At the day of arrival we asked for recommendations for restaurants, as the hotel just offers breakfast. Nothing was available and the response was , that the area would not be save. So we didn’t felt welcome and comfortable.

Someone burnt something while cooking in their room and the fire alarm went off at midnight. In meeting another couple in the hallway while we were exiting the hotel, they indicated that this happened twice during their stay 2 weeks ago. I also found used crack pipe in the pull out couch.
One positive was the breakfast stayed open when we arrived downstairs at 9am (I misread the letter and thought it was open until 10am) The server was very pleasant and accommodating.

We saw a google review about the bed bug a few days before our trip and we felt a little awkward and uncomfortable upon arrival. We asked the issue and got a room on the top floor. The first night, I was not able to sleep very well, but nothing happened. Overall, we had a good stay.

Very friendly staff. The suite had a separate bedroom and lounge with a small kitchen and dining area. Great value for money and very comfortable. Highly recommended. Would stay here again when in Winnipeg.

Cleanliness was just okay. Bed was comfy. The manager on duty (Nica, I think?) was sitting there chewing gum with her mouth open. She wasn’t dressed professionally and definitely did not act professionally nor was she warm or friendly. The person who helped us was fine, but didn’t smile once more told us to enjo our stay. She barely said 2 words. Cleanliness wasn’t great, bathroom sink didn’t drain
