Fantastic place to actualy stay and appreciate .not just to sleep.see the sunrise on one side and sunset on the other.peacefull.

Location was great...very peaceful! Loved the breakfast variety! Andrea and Isaac were very helpful and friendly as well! Would definitely love to return some day!!

I didn’t want to leave! This place is a hidden gem and one K.D. the best places I’ve ever stayed. The room was everything I could have needed with an incredibly comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and so convenient to have it in your room the night before so you could eat whenever worked for you the next day. And the views...they can’t be beat. The sunrise over the ocean is just outside your door and the haze from the sunset over the mountains in the distance at your back door. Such a beautiful and relaxing space and the woman who runs it is a great wealth of knowledge about the area. I will be back....and hoping sooner than later.

Could be ideal, but: came Into a room that smelled from smoke (turn to be burning wood in the area), The place would greatly benefit from a-heating (the heating system blows air directly at the head of the bad but is not sufficient to hold the temperature); b-clean new towels; bathroom rugs, (the floor was freezing). The lady owner was extremely helpful and nice.

This place is fantastic! Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved everything about it - the location, the design of the space, and the delicious breakfast.

We wanted somewhere we could totally relax at, this was the perfect spot. Claire was a wonderful host, helpful and friendly. We can certainly recommend "The Waters" to anyone planning a holiday in this area- superb!

A perfect location for a secluded getaway. Walk on the beach to a nearby vinyard or take a short drive to begin your walk on the Able Tasman trail.

The views are fabulous and the breakfast provided was delicious! The owner was really friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Sensational views, stylish apartment and close to walks in Able Tasman National Park

We stayed 2 nights during our trip through the south island. The views at this hotel are TO DIE FOR! With the sea out back and the pond out front, it was easy to take it all in and relax. Claire was an amazing host. The breakfast (and wine selection) that was provided was delicious (lots of winery style items like cured meats, cheese, and fresh fruit). The family dog, Zeta, who we met at check in was delightful. The only negative is that the walls between the 2 rooms are pretty thin. We had to be careful not to make too much noise to not disturb our neighbors. This didnt cause us any inconvenience though, as the room came with an alarm clock/sound machine. We just turned on the rain noise to cover up the sound of our neighbors tv. The hotel is a short drive from a few awesome restaurants on the Wharf. And in close proximity to Kaiteriteri where we took off on an excursion to Abel Tasman. Would definitely recommend The Waters and hope to return some day!

We stayed at The Waters while visiting New Zealand on our Honeymoon in November. The setting of The Waters is stunning and the rooms are designed to really take advantage of the views. Claire is a wonderful host. I'd highly recommend if spending anytime near Abel Tasman.

Amazing location. Secluded spot overlooking the beach in an olive grove. Very comfortable studio sort of setup. Clean and friendly. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We were here for two nights while on our honeymoon. The room was awesome; very intimate and secluded location. It wasn't far from Abel Tasman national park, which is where we spent the day while staying here.
