Easily one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Food was incredible, service was friendly (although staff knowledge of drinks could be worked on, was given gin glasses for prosecco, then when we tried to order a second bottle was told they didn't sell it.) Didn't negatively impact our stay but I'm sure there's some people who would have been making a scene about it. We stayed for our wedding anniversary but it was also the euro finals and we were pleasantly surprised by how calm and friendly the atmosphere remained considering the pub over the river was a little rowdy. Gorgeous views to eat with and the eggs at breakfast were gorgeous. We will absolutely be back next year! This is our new anniversary spot. Also only a 6 minute drive to thorpe park

As mentioned in other reviews, this is a great choice for convenience to Heathrow without feeling like you're close to the airport. The charm and character of the hotel is great, the pub and breakfast were excellent, and the staff was warm and welcoming. It took a bit of searching to find The Swan but it was certainly worth it. Next time we're in London we'll certainly be back!

Great choice of a British inn the day before leaving from Heathrow.

The staff was superb. They went out of their way to make sure that I had the best of everything . We talked about everything. Also the bar hotel has been kept in great condition. Now I want to say something almost no hotel can brag about no matter the room price. They cleaned my room everyday , replenished whatever was needed, made the bed, etc. Nothing was to good for me. Thank you Paul and all your staff. I love you all.

They have a terrific pub with a nice assortment of real ales, good food, and fun times. This river front property is a great alternative to staying in London.

Loved our stay here. We wanted a place close to Heathrow that was not in an airport/industrial area. This was so quaint and cozy. Staff was lovely and helpful.

Truly an oasis in the middle of nowhere - so very close to Heathrow airport and yet feels like you are out in the country. Breakfast was among the best we have had. Will definitely be back!!!

Working in the area many times, if not actually stayed in Staines but I will do again due to the lovely Swan hotel. The hotel was ideally located, clean and full of character but it’s the staff that are the standout feature. All staff were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, thank you all so much!

Stayed weekend early April, excellent location, bedroom overlooking river, very comfortable, modern,immaculately furnished , quality toiletries . Bar areas lovely , breakfast superb made even better by the service from PAUL who went above and beyond , faultless really ,highly recommend.

Just had a great nights stay at the Swan Hotel. If you are looking for a friendly, affordable, individual place to stay look no further. Its obvious to see the investment that has been made in to this old building. It is refreshing to see somewhere with so much character not looking tired and tatty. The room was small by todays standards but made up for it by the quality of fixtures and fittings. It also had a lovely balcony overlooking the Thames. The evening meal and following breakfast were both of a good standard accompanied by friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended!

This historic property is on the Thames with it's own dock. It is a great location for the airport and local visits to Windsor, Runnymede and more. Great walks along the tow paths and easy access to all the amenities you need!

I love it here! Everyone is so nice. I was able to check into my room early, and it was beautiful. I even had a balcony facing the river! My only issue is that the shower is a bit small and I kept hitting my elbows, but I think that's a me problem.

Lovely view of Thames, staff was pleasant and the hotel manager was most helpful. Felt really welcome, and the New Year's party was an unexpected bonus.

A very old traditional public house and hotel. Rooms are small but interesting and mine had a balcony overlooking the Thames

Old time Bed and Breakfast feel. Overlooked the Thames River, which was very nice. No convenient shopping or dining options, outside of the hotel bar/restaurant.

We have stayed here every time we fly out of Heathrow airport and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. We always book the same room overlooking the river. Staff are amazing and the food is delicious. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
