We spent two nights in the hotel, we loved the breakfast and the cleanliness of our room. Unfortunately the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was thin and when I checked underneath there was a wooden board.. no wonder it was so hard.
The location of the hotel is very good, Waterloo station is 5 minutes walking distance

We always choose this hotel for our stay in London. Hilton and Hampton by Hilton hotels are usually known for how good and service minded they are. The location is good with bus stops and Waterloo station is close by. The service has unfortunately drastically worsened. We specifically asked at check in exactly what we had to do to not have anyone enter the room. We followed the instructions we got (hang up the sign found in the room on the door), but that still didn't work. Apparently the no cleaning service sign is not the same as the do not disturb sign, but the room was without any do not disturb signs. What they should have said was hang up the do not disturb sign, we would have found it gone, and asked for a new one. When we brought this up the staff were surprisingly unkind and not understanding at all.
The water pressure in the shower was non-existent, it was worse than the showers at gym's that want people to leave quickly. A shower that usually takes 10 minutes took 30 minutes due to lack of water. I tried the three different settings that were available, nothing helped. It wasn't like this before at any of our stays.
The hot breakfast was closer to luke warm, tried it around 7 o'clock, 8 o'clock, and 9 o'clock, no difference. Wasn't like this before.
All in all, not worth it for the location, it's really gone downhill the last few years.

Enjoyed my stay here while in London for work. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was pretty good and the dinner was great as well. Beds were not all that comfy but still slept well. My only gripe would be that the maid service would try to come into our room even when the do not disturb was on the door. One day they even yelled into the room quite loudly/forcefully. Other than that would stay again. If you get the dinner, do yourself a favor and order the fish n chips and the apple crumble with custard. Amazing!

Great location and would stay again if the price was competitive. Breakfast had a good range of choices and particularly liked the ability to make your own waffles! Room was fine but slightly dated and the bed was incredibly creaky and fairly hard. It was clean though and for a one night stay had a good sleep.

breakfast very boring for several overnights, very poor, repetitive. just pork meat, no beef available. no fried eggs. not enough variety available. as a 4 star hotel the breakfast was not reasonable.

2nd time here and would come again - very clean rooms & common area and very friendly staff. However surrounding neighborhood is a bit gritty - but seemed safe. Wonderful breakfast buffet included (at least for our stay) - only possible improvement would be to keep the eggs, potatoes Etc a bit warmer.

5 minutes on foot from Waterloo station. 7-10 minutes to London Eye, Big Ben, Parliament Square and the Thames River. AWESOME location.

There was only one lift working all the time. Another one was intermittent and the last was stuck. No one seemed to care!
First three days we didn’t have room service. Complained once and still nothing. Second time, someone did something and it was ok afterwards.
Breakfast was okay. Same thing over and over everyday.
Staff were not really helpful with directions.

Lovely hotel staff helpful and polite- only issue is the lifts. One out of order and a second one seemed to under control of cleaning staff left 1 small lift for everyone else at checkout and breakfast time waited long time to get lift I could get into with case

We like the location of the hotel as close to Waterloo Station and bus stops outside hotel. There are many restaurants close by. The room is basic but clean. It was good to have breakfast included in our stay.

I love the Waterloo area for its convenience and proximity to all of the exciting things to do in London which is only a walk, a train ride, or a taxi ride away at not a great expense. I stayed at this location last year and they have made several upgrades. One of the things I did not like at all is that the bed in my room I could feel the springs in the mattress. When I complained the hotel manager jumped right into action and had a new mattress sent to my room, For which I am thankful! The biggest change is that they have eliminated the business center which means there are no computers to handle business in the hotel at all. Since I was on a business trip this was very disappointing and I had to keep taking my laptop to the front desk for them to give it a charge in the office. I don't think that any hotel should ever eliminate a business center entirely! And for these reasons I may not stay at this hotel again even though their breakfast is Bar None the best I have experienced at any one of these chains. Their housekeeping was inconsistent due to staffing issues and I had to call the front desk for more towels, toilet paper, and plastic bags for my trash. I don't mind that so much because I don't need my room made up everyday, however it is nice to return to a room with fresh towels and garbage emptied after a long day.
