This Hotel is a fair way off what you would expect from Marriott-and dont think you are anywhere near Redondo Beach -this is as close to Lawndale as possible. The room was dark, and the sofa was uncomfortable. The bed was quite comfortable and the aircond works but is noisy. Would I stay there again.. Probably Not!

I was expecting a different hotel that I saw on website but when checking in found out it was a different hotel. Was not expecting this one.

Clean, friendly, good breakfast

Many things in our hotel room were broken. The fridge door, tv had no cable box and remote didn’t work, broken door handles, and shower didn’t drain. The breakfast Buffett ran out on Sunday.

I didn’t stay on the hotel because your staff was soo rude and tell me that their was no rooms available that if i want to go next door or cancel that what we have take it or cancel it

Just Parking fees, maybe it would be nice if it’s less if you stay for a week.

The room is quite large and the breakfast is good.

The Residence Inn by Marriott, Redondo was perfect for our family vacation. The room was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was huge and very clean. All staff were super pleasant. The coffee was really good! (and I'm a coffee-snob) The breakfast was great and the outdoor amenities were wonderful. My son loved the basketball court and played each day. Thanks for a great stay!

Property is decent. Nothing amazing about it. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and prompt. The breakfast was great. I hate that it was so awkwardly placed. It was by a lot of things but also you had to move mountains to get out of the little space the hotel was in. It’s hard to explain. But overall 4/5 stars

The rooms had a hard time maintaining temperature unless the thermostat was set to 69, otherwise the rooms were a little hot. The breakfast had a good selection but the batter for the waffles on one of the days was way too runny. It needs individual salt and pepper instead of sharing one of each for the whole room. Also, I thought the rooms were supposed to be cleaned every other day and all we received were fresh towels and they didn’t even bother to make the beds

Water went out for the day and we had to shower at the other hotels. Nothing was provided for the inconvenience.

Highly Recommend, great breakfast

We booked a 1 bedroom plus sofa bed for 3 adults. The bed was ok but the sofa bed was terrible! It was very squeaky. The mattress was very uneven, too thin and just horrible to sleep on. The blanket that they provide was also very itchy! We begged every night to help us feel more comfortable by asking for a duvet or a better blanket and mattress or anything to put on the mattress really but they just gave us another itchy blanket and said basically that’s all they can do. They said they couldn’t give us a duvet from another empty room because they have a policy to keep the room ready but shouldn’t they also have a policy to make their guests comfortable? Very disappointing especially that this was a Marriott hotel and we stay at Marriott every time but this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. We definitely will not be coming back to this hotel.

I was a little nervous based on some of the reviews before coming, but I just finished a one week stay and have this to say: The good - we loved the breakfasts (though we wish they went until 10am daily) and always dealt with friendly staff. Our room was clean on arrival and we had lots of space. The bad - parking is $20 per night, which added quite an expense to the trip. Our fridge made a horrid sound every few hours that would wake us up. Housecleaning was supposed to happen every two days, but only happened once during our entire week. They were very quick to bring up towels when we requested them though! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and it was super close to the airport, a less than 10 minute drive. The beach is also close by which we loved! Pool and hot tub were great.

Great location and wonderful hotel. The pool was out of service when we arrived, but it was fixed within a day or 2. Our room did not have a safe, which was the only real drawback to this hotel.

This was a great hotel to stay at as a family of 5. The room was large with a separate bed and a kitchen. Staff were attentive and promptly took care of our questions. The pool was not in service so, they had already made convenient arrangements for us to use either of their neighboring hotels’ lovely pools.

Stayed here after a concert at Sofi Stadium. It was clean & close to the venue. I would stay here again.

A few things were disappointing at this hotel. First, apparently Marriott has their own definition of "full kitchen" because if you really want a "full kitchen", make sure it also includes "oven" in the description. To them a full kitchen is a sink, a stove top, microwave, full size refrigerator, and a dishwasher, which we never used because why would you with 2 people and 4 sets of each (plates, bowls, glasses, etc.). That is really why I chose this hotel- because I wanted an actual full kitchen WITH the oven. My other ratings are because the carpets in the hallways were super stained. The front desk staff were not genuinely nice. I always thought I was inconveniencing them when I stopped to asked them a question, like how does using the BBQ work. Not like I was there every day asking them questions. There was also an instance where my boyfriend was leaving for work (he always left by 5:30 am so he never even had breakfast at the hotel) one morning. He saw the ladies at the breakfast getting things ready for the 6 am start of breakfast. He went over to ask them if he could have some coffee for the road since he saw the pot right in front of the lady, and the lady said no. Unprofessional. Only the housekeeping staff was amazing. So very nice! They also did a wonderful job cleaning and getting the apartments ready. In terms of the surroundings, no pretty views and nothing really to do. I did like that there is a Vons walking distance (10 mins walking one way) from the hotel.
