I get that its Las Vegas, but I don't see the justification for charging a reaort fee.
As hostels go, it was a pretty good experience. My biggest issue was a lingering wet sock scent that i had to combat with cologne and body spray.
Shared/private toilet & shower was a very nice surprise.

Room was quiet and clean, however the bed light and electric outlet in bunk did not work .
Really enjoyed the common courtyard otside to decompress and relax.

Tenants were respectful and didn't do anything to disrupt the stay. However, the bathroom isnt well maintained in regards to the walls, though the shower was ok. The towel provided by the facility (which I hanged near my bed) was stolen by someone, so I had to use my backup towel. Here are some things to keep in mind: The bed is small. Try to carry very little items with you so you dont need to share a bed with your stuff. Also, you'll have to walk for a bit to get to public transit despite it being on the strip. And Vegas is hot 24/7 (during the summer anyway) The locker is large enough to fit a carryon suitcase, but you'll have to squeeze it in. There is a kitchen with a stove, freezer, and oven, but I didn't use it so I don't know how well they work. They do use labels to mark which food is yours. Wireless chargers are a bit difficult to use overnight as the outlets are elevated. Bring a large cable or extension cord to rectify this issue.

Jojo was fabulous! Bed was dirty and had this goopy stains on it. Asked for a wipe to clean it but they said they would come by but no one did. AC did not function properly so I was sweating the entire night. This place has potential but for the ratings they have it’s the employees that make it that high, otherwise space is nothing to rave about.

PROVIDED you understand what you are looking for, and intend to rough it a bit, and get with the idea of a hostel, then this is EXCELLENT. Do NOT go here with your lover expecting to get a room and be romantic, etc. It's a HOSTEL.
People who go this route know what they're going after, and this place has it. It's cheap (for Las Vegas), the staff are great, the quad has a gas BBQ and other amenities and games/activities/sitting areas, etc., available.
In my case the fellows in my all-male situation were all extremely thoughtful: Not a word with one of them, as I came in late and left early, but those who came in after, or used the bathroom in the night, etc., took pains to be super quiet and not make unnecessary noise, etc.
If you are fine being in a room with a bunch of dudes on the top of a bunk bed, but saving tons of money, and perhaps meeting some interesting people, this can be a very good option.
The area is not so nice, but that's not they're problem, and it's kind of the way of the world right now. But once you're inside, everyone seems fine. One should always be careful with one's things in these kinds of places, true enough, but I felt like it was just chill in there and everyone was on the same page.
I really liked it.

The AC isn't working in my room. It's pretty hot and uncomfortable.

This hostel really needs cups available for the guests. Summer time and they don’t have cups for drinking water.

Served its purpose for what I needed it for. The staff were great - Rome was the most lovely person who was really helpful. I had to change rooms for the second night - not sure why but it was quite inconvenient as I got back at 10pm after a tour.
The beds are fine - comfortable enough but quite noisy. the curtains were great, blocked out most of the light which was helpful. The vibe inside the hostel was really nice, the courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun.
The area isn't great, didn't feel totally comfortable most of the time.
Overall satisfied, definitely worth it for the price.

Really chill place everyone I meet there from guest to staff was awesome. The courtyard is really chill and relaxing especially after a day of reffing soccer.

Good for the price

Sketchy, rundown area and so is the property. The staff and people are nice and my room was clean. They give you linen to make your own bed and it was impossible for me to do with a wall on every side except the foot of the bed. I spent less on my room than I did for a single drink when I went out, so it’s a good deal considering the price

The staff there were very nice and I want that to be clear on this review. Check in was great and I met a lot of nice people. The one stars are for the OWNERS to put their money into this place, JFC!! You tight wads can't spend a little bit of money cleaning up the place and getting tables that don't wobble?! They have a pool table and a foos ball table that looks like they were abandoned at a bomb shelter. It wouldn't take that much if owners would just put some money into keeping things up. They've been riding on this "#1 hostel in Vegas" accolade since......what? 1995? The only good thing you've got going there are the people working for you there.

You get what you pay for. All I needed was a bed and got one for $85 and not $350 like everything else in Vegas.

Assistant Manager Beverly has been renamed Beverly the Angel! She is professional yet warm and really nice. Her choice of music is excellent as well 😃💐👏
My stay was very comfortable. If anyone is looking for a great hostel, this is it!

The staff is young and just nice people. The bed is VERY comfortable, I was out like a light the minute I hit the pillow. My roommates could have been a bit cleaner but overall, I received a great deal for the price I paid

It grew on me. Staff were helpful and responsive when prompted, very mellow inside the premises, outside was a little dodgy

I was scared for my life. Fortunately, it was a staff member named Beverly that calmed me down. I explained to her the situation and how I ended up renting this property. It looks nothing like the pictures a lot of homeless people in the area. I left there within an hour of seeing the environment Beverly was amazing and understood my position, this is not a place safe for people especially visitors not familiar with the location .

The property is exactly nothing like in the photos but I got what I paid for. Although it says it’s $20 per night with discounts, there were hidden fees which made up to $40 per night. It’s my least favorite Hostel I have ever stayed.

Worst stay ever. The employees are too entitled that people who work here and won’t stop partying until 5 in the morning although I asked them to be quiet. The following answer I got was “you’re at Las Vegas what you expect? You should expect gotten better hotel if you want top-notch service” Are you kidding me? All I asked was to be quiet and their response was to tease me. Wack-ass employees with the worst attitude.

Hard to sleep in shared room but that's my own issue, not the establishments.

The property needs to be upgraded on the inside and outside. The a/c wasn’t on and the room felt hot and humid. The last night there a guest was behaving selfishly and would stay in the bathroom over an hour. When she finally opened the door, you can tell she had been smoking in the bathroom. There was a complaint made to the front desk, but nothing came of it. Later in the evening she passed out on the bathroom floor and it was locked the entire night. Myself and 4 other guests had to either go outside in the middle of the night to relieve ourselves or knock on another door and ask to use their bathroom. I understand it’s an shared space, but they should be mindful of the elements they allow to stay there.
