Check-in was a very pleasant experience. The lady was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. All areas of the hotel were immaculate and the decor was very inviting. Our room was huge, and tastefully decorated. The hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was very good with many options. There was plenty of parking. The hotel was in a very safe area. I would definitely stay here again. I would also highly recommend Bar Harbor Grand Hotel to everyone.

We had a such great stay here!! We loved the location. Very easy to walk to the downtown shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was nice to be able to make hot chocolate in the kitchen area before walking around during the cold evenings. They also had an ice machine, coffee, tea, silverware, and more, readily available as well. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel was quiet. We loved our stay in Bar Harbor and being 5 minutes from the entrance to Acadia. Also… free parking!!! We would definitely stay here again when we come back!!!

This hotel was a great surprise! We stayed at several hotels/inns on our trip down the Maine Coast, and this was by far the best one. Great location so we could walk to everything in Bar Harbor. The room was spacious and felt updated. The beds were very comfortable, and it was really quiet, even with the hotel being fully booked. Never heard our neighbors. My husband also appreciated the ceiling fan in the room. We used the laundry room once during our stay. It’s $4.00 per load (washer + dryer), and the front desk can exchange cash for quarters. Just plan on doing small loads because we did a larger load and the clothes were not dry after one dryer cycle.
We only ate the free breakfast once, and it was just ok. Nice that it’s offered at all, so I’m not complaining.
Would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Although it is not a Harbor view. I’ll still consider it a Great location. Why? It is in the shopping and dinning district. It is like 3 mins walk from the Harbor. The hotel is safe, clean, includes way above normal free breakfast, snacks and most importantly…. excellent customer service.

Loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and sitting on the front porch was amazing. Also liked that there were laundry facilities available.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and well-furnished. Parking was a little inconvenient as there was only one hard-to-find empty spot every time I had to park.

Loved the convenient location of this property in Bar Harbor - we were able to walk easily to restaurants and the waterfront. Staff were super friendly and our room was spotless, and very quiet. My son enjoyed a dip in the pool at the end of each day after exploring Acadia. The hotel had umbrellas for use, which came in handy one rainy morning. They also set up a make your own trail mix station one morning which my son loved. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of options which rotated and staff kept it well stocked and clean throughout the morning. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay! Close to everything. Just park and explore Bar Harbor. The facility is also very nice. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Had a great stay.

This hotel is truly a gem! The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean. We sat on the large front porch for almost 3 hours, rocking in the rocking chairs and enjoying the scenery. The staff here is absolutely stellar- and the amenities provided are thoughtful and a step above and beyond- fruit flavored water available all day as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Breakfast was wonderful and had everything from eggs and bacon to blueberry muffins and a yogurt bar. The day we were there they also had a make your own trail mix bar. Such a convenient location where you can walk to ever bring! Don’t miss your chance to stay here!

This hotel has a great location - walkable to restaurants, shops, and the Island Explorer public transportation. The room was huge and had an excellent continental breakfast - beautiful fresh fruit!

Great hotel. Highly recommend. Notably friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of off street free parking. Free breakfast was good. Room was VERY clean. Appeared recently renovated. Location is close to restaurants and the Abbe Museum.

Such a quaint, homey facility. Friendly Associates take pride in their facility. Wonderful breakfasts. Infused water throughout the day, homemade snacks in afternoon. Fresh flowers throughout, everyday. Location is walkable, no need to drive. Cleanest facility I have encountered for a long time.

Our family of 5 loved our stay! Perfect location on Main Street, could walk to shop and drive into Acadia in 10 min. Hotel was super clean, delicious breakfast with gluten free options, and my kids loved a dip in the pool after a long day of hiking. Staff was friendly, would definitely stay again on our next trip to Bar Harbor

This location is clean and quiet. We stayed on the second floor which is a walk up so if you can’t do stairs this place may not be for you. The ai staff service was a nice touch. The hotel is also conveniently located to most of the sights and attractions. I would definitely stay here again

This hotel is fabulous friendly and fresh flowers everywhere. A quaint four floor hotel that is more like a bed and breakfast. Beautiful roomy king size bed room-newly remodeled. Very clean. Located perfectly to walk downtown and to waterfront. Not located on the water.
