We really had a great stay at Empire Motel. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The pool was clean and fun for the kids. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and BBQs. Absolutely will go back and have already started recommending Empire Motel to family and friends. You could really tell the owners and staff worked hard at keeping everything clean and cared for!! We had a family suite and it was perfect for our family of four. Looking forward to staying there again.

It was such a great stay at the hotel. Clean, walking distance to stores, restaurants, coffee and the beach. The team there is super friendly and made our stay perfect. Totally would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Empire Motel. We were given a free upgrade to a larger room, which was very clean and newly renovated, and Estelle was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!

Our family went their and the owner was amazing. Close to the beach and the pool was awesome. Lots of other families and the courtyard also was in an amazing shape.

Great location, walking distance to Skaha Beach; kids loved the pool and we enjoyed using the courtyard and bbq area for dinners. Owner was friendly and available at the property for any questions or concerns.

Clean rooms, mattresses are new and very comfortable, bathrooms newly renovated, shower pressure and temperature were perfect! The outdoor BBQ area is well equipped and a perfect place to unwind. Estelle really cares about her property and is so kind and helpful. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family!

The owner is so welcoming and personable; the motel is older but very clean and comfortable. The pool and barbecue area are also clean and well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will be back!

This quaint little motel is well kept and managed. We enjoyed our stay. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool was well kept and very comfortable for the hot temperatures we experienced while there. We will definitely book there again.

This is a nice little no-frills motel. It has a pool and a bunch of barbecues. The rooms are clean and comfortable. What makes this hotel special is the attention from the owner. I felt like I had a relative taking care of me. Estelle checked on me to make sure the room was great, gave me restaurant advice and helped me pick a route for the next leg of my trip. I’ll be back.

Friendly and very welcoming staff. We were in Penticton for the Gran Fondo race and it was the perfect stay for the weekend. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and spacious with a full kitchen. It was a short walk or drive to all amenities. It was a short drive to the race start or a 15 minute ride to the start. Lake was super close too. Pool was lovely especially with the heat in the Okanagan. It is obvious the owner is attentive to guests enjoying their stay. Highly recommend this adorable motel.

We typically avoid motels and 2-star accommodations. Took a chance and pleasantly surprised. Clean, comfortable bed and close walk to the beach/park. The full size fridge was an added bonus.

We traveled to Penticton for a cycling event. The property owner was so gracious and accommodating. She secured our bikes in her garage when we weren't using them and was always asking how our stay was going. The property is conveniently located to water and major roads. Just a very nice stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We initially were given a top floor room, which was hard for my mother in law to go up the stairs. The woman at the desk was very friendly and accommodating- offering us a ground floor room. The room was very clean, and the back yard has a nice pool with picnic areas with bbqs. No issues.

Checkin was a breeze - very nice clerk. Room was clean, but mediocre - my feet got dirty walking barefoot in the room. All ok until I saw the note on the fridge ‘if you don’t wash dishes you use (2 coffee cups) you’ll be charged $30’!! Note also says to keep linens clean or you’ll be charged damage!
Total turn off to an otherwise decent stay.

What a lovely place! Estelle, the clerk (owner maybe), was super friendly and checked to see if our room was OK. We couldn't get the TV to work and neither could Estelle, but we had a good sleep without it! They have snowbird rates as well, which may be something to look into this Winter.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. This was the first time we stayed here…what at gem! Simple decor, comfortable bed, very clean! Everything we look for in a place to stay.
Parking is convenient. Even though it’s on a busy street, surprisingly quiet. About 25 minute walk to a major grocery store. Close to beach. Nice courtyard area (that we didn’t use) with outdoor swimming pool and BBQ’s.
Our new favourite place to stay in Penticton. Two thumbs up.
