Probably the best hotel for that price anywhere in the area. The owner and staff are super helpful. Would surely recommend to anyone who doesn’t need a 4 star hotel.

Clean with eveyghing you need and lovely staff. Right on the Malin road with easy acsess to everything. Just rent s scooter

This hotel is right across the road from Bang Niang Market. It has a nice pool, and the staff are excellent. The whole facility was spotless. Ar and Nid were awesome, always ready to help and give advice on where to go and what to do. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Khao Lak.

Fantastic cozy place with amazing and very helpful staff. They go out of their way to help you settle. This is my second time here and I will definitely book at Ruk Cozy when I visit again. Highly recommended!

It's a small hotel with about 15 rooms. Rooms are simple, very spacious with nice furniture and ample cupboard space. Nice, clean, well designed bathroom and balcony. There is a small, well used swimming pool and deck chairs and also a coffee shop. The best features are the owners Nick and his partner. They are the friendliest owners anywhere, always cheerful and willing to chat. You really feel warmly welcomed and at home.

This hotel is close to many bars and restaurants. Ban Niang beach is 1 km away. Breakfast à la carte is available at the hotel bar and in many places nearby. Room and bathroom are quite big and basic, ok overall. Cons, it was smelly when we arrived. Bed was very large but hard! Only 1 towel is provided (but we had one more upon request). The staff is very helpful and friendly. Good value for the price!

This accommodation is very good value. The rooms are cleaned every day to a very high standard and the owners are very friendly and helpful. My partner was not well when we stayed and the owners couldnt do enough to try and help out. The bed is comfortable and bathroom modern with a great shower. The accommodation is not beachfront, it takes 15 mins to walk to the nearest beach but it is only a few minutes walk to the main road with all the restaurants and shops. There is also a 7 eleven just across the road. Hire of a bike is a good idea. Breakfast is not included but there are several places to buy breakfast nearby. loved our stay in this hotel, wouldnt hesitate to stay here again if i come to koh Lak, great location, lovely clean rooms, lovely pool, this is a fairly new hotel and very central to all your needs, the owner Ar and his assistant Nid are first class and gave us plenty of advice everyday on where to go and best beaches to find, they were always on hand, even provided me with a kettle in my room, sorted me out a scooter to rent and got us our bus when we left, i can not rate this place highly enough, i have been to Thailand many times and have stayed in many hotels and i can honestly for the price and quality of service recieved this is definitely one of my favourite places

Our stay at Ruk Cozy was perfect! The hotel location is great, close to the main street that leads to the beach, and where you can find many good restaurants and everything else you might need (currency exchange, tour agency, pharmacy, etc). The room is clean, new, and large, bed is comfy and bathroom is huge. It also has a large balcony with a beautiful view. The swimming pool is new and perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The managers are very very helpful and polite. They even helped us with a personal problem, we are so grateful for that. In conclusion, if you find a room available there do not think twice, just book it.

There are lots of Germans in Khao Lak, but this hotel has a nice mix of guests, mostly from Scandinavia, Central Europe, Russia, and Asia.We appreciated being able to arrange airport pickup from Phuket directly with their courteous driver and all their honest advise about what to do (and not) in Khao Lak (like everywhere, there are lots of completely overpriced tourist activities in this part of Thailand). They helped us rent bicycles and scooters, and gave us pointers on where to shop at local prices.The hotel is clean clean clean, and the rooms are bigger than they look. We had a family room that faces the street but did not find the traffic noisy. The TV was good and wifi quality excellent throughout. We also really appreciated that this is a non smoking hotel. Hooray for that!We loved the pool on days we did not go to the beach or go riding at the Khao Lak Horse Club, and the neighbourhood offers several small street restaurants where locals eat - no need to eat 'tourist food' if you like real Thai cuisine.The hotel is new and aesthetically very pleasing with clean lines and modernist touches. No wonder it already gets many return clients!

The room was way bigger than normal hotel rooms and bigger than what we expected. Plus theres a small balcony facing the pool for relaxing in the sun. The hotel owners were friendly and helpful, a great stay overall. Its located along the main road at the traffic junction to turn into Bang Niang beach, so its accessible and a short walk to the beach.

Stayed here for one night. Very modern and updated. Close location to many resturaunts. A little close to the road but otherwise great. If you are looking for a place to relax by the beach this is not for you but if you have a one day stop over it is worth a look.

A cut above the usual standard. Some thought had gone into the design and it showed. From the front it looks rather harsh but dont be put off. The guys running this place are really good, when our bus shot through and left us standing they brought out their car and run us to the the main bus station - thats 20 kms away. Above and beyond.
