The hotel itself was mediocre but clean. The customer service from the front desk and management could use a lot of work.

Great place to stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was relatively small, but they have done a good job with including what a modern guest would want. Ouray is a wonderful litttle mountain town and when we decided to stay an extra day, they gave us a fair price and made it an easy process. Included breakfast is at a Mexican restaurant a few blocks away, in which the food was excellent.

Cute motel. Up to date paint, flowers, hot tub, fire pit, etc. Cute communal gathering area outside. It is an updated motel, not hotel. No elevators. Luckily it's only a 2- story building. The included breakfast was 1 block away at a Mexican restaurant. You are given a certificate with a menu list of 5 items to choose from. You then walk over, be seated, and order breakfast. Coffee included. Would stay again.

Everything was good. Rooms are very small but that is to be expected. Only thing is for breakfast you have to go to a Mexican restaurant and you only have 5 choices which all included eggs and we don't eat eggs so wish I would have known that in the beginning as I pick hotels that include breakfast to help minimize $ eatting out.

We felt that the staff did not make us feel welcome or go out of their way to help us. The room felt REALLY small and over crowded with large furniture so there was there very little room to move around. Check out time was 10am which seemed early

This was a well-maintained, clean, quaint property. Staff was great. I left my iron behind and they even called to notify me (that never happens)...we were already too far away to return so donated it to them as iron in room leaked terribly. Surrounding area was fantastic...great dining, nice shopping and just a really great town. A little gem in the mountains, bothe the hotel and the town.

Wonderful family-run place to be with my wife and adult son. The family owners were wonderful, the room and grounds were very clean, the grounds had beautiful hanging basket and potted flowers, and I could have spent hours in the comfortable view-oriented sitting area in the courtyard reading scripture in the midst of God's amazing gorgeous creation.

A very nice stay. The room was extremely clean. However, the room was small and had too much furniture in place for size of room. Great shower. Unable to stay second night of booked trip and no refund was offered. Would probably stay elsewhere if in area again.

The Matterhorn Inn is a wonderful place to stay in Ouray! Surrounded by beautiful mountains with all of the town within walking distance! The staff was super nice and the room was clean and beautiful! Not a single complaint! And the view from our room was spectacular!

Checkin was easy. We booked a king bed room and there was just about enough room for the king bed. We only stayed one night, so it was tolerable. Clean room and PLENTY of towels.
Easy to park and walk to all of the shops and restaurants in the Main Street. Short walk to the Ouray Hot Springs.
They gave us a voucher for breakfast. It was at a Mexican restaurant that had great options for breakfast and friendly service.
