The room i had was quite damp and musty smelling. The staff were all lovely and the place was clean though.

Beautiful, excellent breakfast. Rooms are not that big but big enough. Breakfast was amazing. Parking is a little complicated but in Cuenca it always is.

Nice facility, Helpful staff. Not to be confuse with the main hotel just down the street on opposite side of road.

Amazing hotel

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Cuenca. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms new and clean. Within walking distance of most attractions in Cuenca, restaurants, shopping and the Parque Caldron. Free parking is a great added benefit. We will return on our next visit.

I had a fantastic stay as this beautiful hotel! The staff were friendly and super helpful with directions and insider knowledge of the city. The hotel was just beautiful and very clean & the breakfast very delicious. It’s location is walking distance from the city center and all major sights. I look forward to my next visit and thanks to everyone in the hotel for their hospitality!

It was my first stay at the Forum offshoot of Santa Lucia Hotel, where I have stayed a few times and also have eaten at their restaurants, The best part of my stay at Santa Lucia House Forum were three wonderful staff members - Emilia, Marco, and Deta Lovely, kind, and attentive people, delivering fantastic service, Thank you Emilia and Marco, for your kindness and attention, And thank you, Deta, for the meticulous cleaning and lovely attention. The Santa Lucia Forum House is a very nicely restored centrally located old family building - lots of character, beautifully looking and loud squeaking wooden floors. Updated bathrooms. However, steer clear of the room by the front desk, which is advertised as the love of single travelers LOL. If such travelers are not an invention of the hotel and hotels.com, they clearly have masochistic tendencies. That impossibly tiny room has a totally dysfunctional tiny bathroom, whose shower door was designed specifically to keep you under the freezing water until the latter finally heats up - 3-5 minutes. The room had one outlet, used for some bloody awful smell dispenser. In the room, you hear very clearly every word intended for the front desk person, as if you were that front desk person. It is totally outrageous that this torture chamber had the sale price of $53 and the regular price of 75_ My second room was times better and, allegedly cost $20 more, i.e. around $75), on sale . This is pretty ridiculous for a 2 s

My experience was ok for one night. \For a longr stay I would have to request a quieter room, as my room overviewed the reception and got all the noise from the door bell each time a guest wanted to get in, conversations in the reception as well as the sounds from the breakfast time.

The staff was outstanding from our morning breakfast waiter to the front desk personnel. The decor of the building has a great feel. We were able to arrange for laundry services during our stay.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and clean. Inexpensive and very much worth the money. The rooms have windows only to inside or a courtyard.

Noisy. Very old building, creaky. One cranky child made life miserable. Sound carries throughout. NO ELEVATOR.

I liked its proximity to center square. Did not like how far away it was from the parking lot especially due to heavy traffic and having to carry luggage from an to the hotel.

Despite a charming look and good location in Cuenca, you hear every word spoken by other guests everywhere in this two-story converted house. It was like they were in your room or next to it, even from the restaurant from the ground floor during breakfast time (breakfast was very good). Not my style of accommodations when I vacation but my girlfriend chose it. I prefer a modern type hotel with sound control. Hard to get privacy or rest while hearing activity so loud and clear all the time. Staff was really nice and friendly, clean room, comfortable bed, decent bathroom but an open small window near the ceiling to ventilate the bathroom air into the....hallway (?), room was a bit too small, nice closet space.

Enjoyed our stay in this classic hotel. We loved the clean and quiet rooms. Would recommend for anyone traveling and just needing where to sleep.

Close to Calderon Square and Cuenca Cathedral. Cuenca is the most beautiful colonial and modern cty of Ecuador. Wakable, safe and great cheap transportation system. You can get airport on Tranvía.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The hacienda style accommodations were wonderfully stylish and quiet. The interior of this beautiful hotel became a sanctuary after a busy and noisy day downtown.

I can't overstate how kind and helpful the staff was. Loved staying here!
