Restaurant option to be improved

It was such a cute place to stay with the nicest people running it. Breakfast was amazing

Good when traveling with kids in two families to visit Legoland, as our room was more like a really large apartment with four bed rooms and cooking facilities.

Room air was poor. No air condition but windows can open

The location is quiet and relaxing. The staff were super friendly and spoke perfect English. The hotel is well maintained and has a very homey vibe. I would go back!

We have stayed here before and loved it all. Unfortunately the room we were given this time was not as nice as the one before. While the bed was pretty good and the bathroom very nice with a spa bath, the sofa and chair in the room were poorly upholstered and uncomfortable and the TV was badly positioned so it could not be seen from one side of the bed. The evening meal was not up to the standard we expected. My Wienerschnitzel was a little tough to chew and the service was rather slow. Breakfast was satisfactory.

What a great place! Fantastic spacious rooms/apartments that are decorated tastefully. Very sweet personnel. Not many places like this in Denmark. Close to Legoland and other attractions. We keep coming back (now for the third time).

Lovely room, very unusual for a Danish hotel and we felt extremely comfortable and at home! The bathtub in the main room is a nice touch. The owner was extremely accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent!! Will be back for sure :)

It is a very cute hotel and service is OK. For the location and the general conditions I really think is overpriced. Is in a little town where nothing really happens. It is not a 4 starts and the price is ridiculous .... will not try it again

Great place to stay in countryside near Legoland and West Coast. Hotel is very charming and staff was friendly. Breakfast was tasty and home made.

Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely! Beautiful little place, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful owner!

The room was not just a room, but an apartment. It was themed based on Africa and we had the Emperor's room. The bedroom was wonderful with a very comfortable bed. The living area had 2 leather settees. The paintings on the walls were fabulous. It was nice and quiet and we would definitely stay there again when in the area. Oh, the bathroom had a large wooden bath and a great shower.

Great hotel that offers a lot of space in a comfortable, clean and quaint setting. There is not much in the town but we had everything that we needed within a one minute walk; onsite restaurant and ice cream stand, grocery store, offsite restaurant, carry out grill stand and a pizza restaurant. Check in was easy and we received very friendly service. Definitely worth the few extra minutes drive.

We are a family of 5 (kids 15,12,10) who visited Lego House and Legoland. We were unable to get reasonable accommodation in Billund. We found this hotel 35mins drive away in a small town called Holsted. The hotel is made up of several fairly big apartments, the reception was closed and we were not greeted by anyone. We did not meet an employee during our stay. Our apartment had a firestation theme which was quirky but maybe unnecessary. The apartment was 2 storey with the kids room in the basement and ours upstairs beside the kitchen.There was only one bathroom which was also in the basement, this was kind of annoying especially if you wanted to use it during the night. The shower was also directly beside the toilet so maybe not great from a hygiene point if view. There was a breakfast room available but we did not use it as we thought it was expensive for what you get and especially when there is a supermarket a 2 min walk across the road. The World Cup was on during our stay and we were able to watch the games on the flat screen TV provided. Overall our stay was enjoyable enough. By the way Holsted itself was dead and had nothing to offer. We would advise anyone going to Billund to try and get accommodation there.

3 bedrooms, kitchen, and a comfortable living room. This place is not close to any major cities, but as long as you do not mind driving, the extra comfort is worth it.

The room was very clean and welcoming! The bathroom was spacious. The surrounding town was quaint & charming. There is a small river that runs through it. We loved our stay!

We stayed for three nights with two small children in the red/ firefighter room. Super comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Fully equipped kitchen with a supermarket across the road. Cannot ask for more.

Quiet town within driving distance to Ribe, the east coast of Jutland. Friendly staff and a wonderful place to stay. A store across the street. The dinner at the restaurant wasnt that special but the hotel is exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay.

I work in the local area and found the hotel location, room amenities and price really good. Very comfortable, good wifi.
