We booked last minute and was warmly welcomed. The unit was lovely with a nice coffee machine, comfortable furniture and for once a decent bed! To be able to relax in the surroundings was great and the host suggested nice places to go for dinner that night. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely book again if needed.

Owners very friendly, explained cottage set up/operation and brought ice creams on arrval.

Superb accommodation in an excellent location and Carol and Max were top hosts - definitely recommend and we'll visit again thanks!

Beautiful large unit with a wonderful well equipped kitchen. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless and the sitting room was very comfortable. The cottage unit is nestled in amongst apple orchards. Our host was most welcoming and helpful

This place was amazing. would recommend this place to everybody. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and it was fantastic. both rooms have their own ensuites. Lovely hosts that care about you as well as the accommodation.

Restful, comfortable, roomy and well located with easy access to Flaxmere, Hastings, Havelock Norty and the Napier expressway.

Just lovely friendly and clean and wonderful information offered for local food etc.

Carol went the extra mile for us . She even offered us an upgrade if the other unit wasn’t booked already.We were all made to feel so wonderfully welcome.My parents were more than welcome to enjoy a bbq and swim with us and this was wonderful.If needed anything we could just ask.We both loved our stay at Bluebell and would highly recommend.Just five minutes drive to Havelock village.Private and so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back next time and can’t wait!

I really like my start here. Carol was very welcoming and accommodating of my delayed arrival because of bad weather in San Francisco. The place was very clean, very quiet and hidden from the main road. Would definitely go back!

Carol was a wonderful host, showing us all the features of the room and telling us what is nice nearby. Lovely host and nice, comfortable furnishings in the room. Especially liked the toaster, and the washer was crucial!

We enjoyed the cleanliness and peacefulness, it is situated in a really nice spot.

We were welcomed by the Lovely Host Carol , we were made very welcome, on arrival we were shown how everything "worked" EG: Tv Washing Machine etc.we were given a wonderful Ice Cream each and some fresh Apples , the location was great, it is in the Hastings area ,and we spent a lot of time in and around Havelock North, and Napier,a wonderful part of the world, If and when ( Likely) we return to NZ, and when we are in this Area , The Bluebell Lodge & Cottage is where we will stay , ( Hopefully there will be a Vacancy sign for us .then)

Carol was welcoming and went above and beyond what we expected on arrival. Definitely highly recommend, a very quaint, clean place to stay

Nice, clean, quiet place. Owner responded promptly to a couple of things that needed fixing. But don't be fooled by the swimming pool that's the owner's.

Lovely and comfortable little stay on our road trip. Accidentally drove past the lodge, as it was dark and the sign wasn't super visible. But we made it, not realizing we were supposed to have given notice of a later arrival (as theres no reception) it did say this on the email, we just missed it. But we found the woman running the place next door though, she had already left us the key under the matt and gave us a jug of milk and ice cream! Very kind. Room was a bit outdated, but overall clean and comfortable for the night!

We had a lovely stay here. Perfect for a family with 1 child in the 1 bedroom cottage. Carol is lovely and very helpful, giving us ideas on where to go and what to do.

Smaller unit with most facilities. Carol very accommodating and helpful with suggestions for dinner and attractions. Relaxing surrounds with open spaces but close enough to Hastings.
