Very nice vintage hotel ! It was charming. The stairs were a tad daunting for our “ over 70” group, but we managed.

Could not have had a more disappointing stay. Booked an "ocean view" room with two bedrooms (not cheap). Drove 5 hours to get there from Washington state to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. See the attached photos for the "view."
I called the office right away to see about switching to a room that had an actual view, and the gentleman said they could switch us to a spa room at their other property the next night. We went in the morning to see this other room, but, unfortunately, it only had one bedroom, and we needed two.
They had another view room at this other property for $609, and were told we would have had to pay the difference.
Finally, the unit above our original room was available to move into, but it had the same miserable "view."
These alternate rooms were insufficient suggestions for resolution, and we therefore had to search other properties for a view room for our second night.
Upon trying to leave, we were told by the lady at the front desk that they could not give us a refund for the second night as they had a two night minimum and they had "offered us other rooms". She said if someone else booked the room we were leaving and not using, we could get a refund. This will not happen as they are still showing this room as "sold out". Surely in an attempt to refuse us a refund.
The issue here is that we paid $900 for a room that was advertised as having a view, and the property was unable to supply what was advertised.

Great stay on Cannon Beach! Location, room with private small terrace in addition to a fireplace in the room in kitchen area made it the perfect stay away from home for beach getaway.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay, a couple of things to consider: there is no AC, they do have a fan and we opened the balcony and entrance doors to get a nice cross breeze and that worked well to cool the room. The room is on the third floor and there’s no elevator so be prepared for some stairs.
It’s a cozy little hideaway with a fantastic view of the ocean and access to just about everything you would want to check out in Cannon Beach.

Wonderful views of the ocean and access to the beach on foot, and the room is well appointed and furnished with anything one might need during the stay (pots, pans, dishes, stove top, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, etc.). Firewood and kindling available for purchase for magical evening fires on the beach. The pelicans and gulls make for lovely entertainment in the estuary while Haystack rock looms on the left and the "Goonies" sea stacks frame your view on the right. In walking distance to all restaurants, coffee shops, and tourist attractions in Cannon Beach. Just a couple (if even) miles away by car to Ecola State Park. Terrible Tilly guards the coast, and can be seen on clear days from the balcony! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We went for 3 nights. At the end of our trip our backs hirt from the bed, we felt like we were in a hole. The pillows were like sleeping on a bag of rocks. Paid for a beach view and although we could see the beach, we had to overlook the street of cars to see anything. The pictures were a little deceiving.

The property was a little far from the downtown walking areas. But that trade-off was it was quiet. At check-in, they did ask if we would like someone to come in mid-stay to switch out towels. We said that would great be great, but it did not happen. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding. All in all, it was a great property.

This is a lovely hotel a block away from the beach and right in downtown Cannon Beach. The room was gorgeous, sparkling clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved having a fireplace and little kitchenette. Our room had a gorgeous view of the beach and it made our stay feel luxurious. Highly recommended!!

Weather was great! Hotel was immaculate! We managed to get 5 people in at this particular unit and it worked out just fine. I loved that it was a no smoking area and that it had direct beach access.

Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable except for the Mt. Everest bed which was so tall we had to crawl up and then sink into the mushy pillow top.
We loved the light and beautiful woodwork, tile work and carpet. The bathroom was efficient and clean with lots of towel racks. It might be nice to install some shades on the south facing skylights. In the afternoons the room became very hot. We did not realize when we booked that we would be climbing a flight of stairs. It might be good to put that on the Expedia website. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant three nights.
