Unpretentious motel. Clean with spacious room. Located close to the park entrance. Nice touch was a goodie bag of snacks. Would highly recommend it

The people who worked on the office were very nice and always helpful. The rooms were very clean. Its the perfect area and location. Easy access to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge.

This was our second time staying in this motel and we plan to stay again next year! Really nice place to stay in townsend. Owners are very nice, the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The view is nice, we love the rocking chairs outside of the rooms. We enjoy the large outdoor pool and the patio area with bags where our family can hang out when we have some downtime. It is simple to get in and out of the room as we can park right in front of our room door. The gift bags are so nice! They really make us feel welcome. We also enjoy staying in townsend because it truly is the quiet side of the smoky mountains. However, it is not too far from gatlinburg, if you did want to visit the busy side. Townsend isn't too far from cades cove, the sinks, laurel falls etc. Lots to do and see nearby. This year we decided to try the river rats tubing adventure. This is located in townsend and was a lot of fun. We went with the relaxed outpost with less rapids.

The cabin was very nice. It had a queen bed and a futon sofa bed. The futon was thick and very comfortable. The cabin was perfect for 4 people.

Check in was super smooth with no issues and added goodie bag! Room was mostly clean aside from some dust bunnies here and there on a hardwood floor. Beds and furniture were clean. Updated and cold A/C was much appreciated. Location to Tail of the Dragon, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg was perfect. Property was well maintained. Neighbors were very friendly. Area was quiet. My only gripe would be swapping out the futon for an actual couch - it was pretty uncomfortable to sit on.

We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice, very clean, towels were provided, had umbrellas for shade and a picnic area. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My husband forgot his toothbrush and they provided one even though the office was closed. He also left his IPods and they mailed them to us! I would recommend this property if you are visiting Townsend. Very convenient to Cades Cove

The room was perfect for our needs, small but nice additional seating. Clean, quaint, right off the main road. No need for all wheel drive or long jaunt into the mountains. Everything was conveniently located.

Awesome place to stay. The room was clean, neat and modern and made up every day. The furniture made the room feel like home, instead of all hoytie toytie like the bigger hotels. The young lady that checked us in was very professional and friendly. Rates were reasonable. I would highly recommend this motel and will stay there again should we visit TN in the future.

This is a motel like we stayed in during the 1950's and 1960's. It has been maintained and updated. Super clean, comfortable beds, easy access to room from parking. Would definitely stay again if traveling in that area.

We received a phone call to confirm our reservation. When we arrived we were handed a bag of goodies. The lights and TV were turned on when we walked in our room. The room was clean and welcoming.

far enough away from the congestion of pigeon forge and gatlinburg but close enough to get everywhere easily! cades cove right down the road. only downfall is lack of restaurants in the area. they were packed!! so we roasted weinies at the motel firepit!! great staff and cozy room.

We booked our room knowing we would be in it very little, so luxurious wasn't a factor. Super clean, lovely smelling toiletries, stocked coffee area, legit linens and did I mention clean? The only thing I can say is I prefer a soft mattress. Were our beds soft? No. We're we uncomfortable? Yes! We loved our stay here and will be back again and again. Book your next stay in Townsend here, you won't be disappointed.

An that treats you like a valued customer - not just another name on the registrar. Rooms with a double coffee maker in the room with true mugs - not paper cups. Chairs in front to sit and enjoy the Smokies. Great getaway.
