This hotel was good but not great, and felt over priced at $200 night compared to other similar properties. Room was small, clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly. We were on first floor adjacent to stairs so there was a lot of noise as people went up and down the stairs to their rooms. Breakfast was bagged continental style including yogurt, granola bar, piece of fruit, and hard boiled egg. The highlight was the setting which was beautiful along the river with surrounding mountain vistas.

What a gem! We loved our stay. The property was absolutely gorgeous. John was great checking us in. We were a bit later than we hoped but he made sure when we got there he asked about our dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. I can’t wait to stay again. Will definitely be our go to place. Thank you!

Great little place tucked away just a block from the Main Street in Ouray. The owner was very attentive and on site during our stay.
The hot tubs and fire pit was a plus and welcome addition after a day in the mountains.
We’ll definitely be stay there again on our next trip to Ouray!

We stay here several times per year. We love it! Nice to have the dog park so close. Beautiful views of the river! It is so nice to soak in the hot tub after going out to dinner.

Maintenance was needed on the sink faucet (missing aerator) resulted in poor water flow. Shower handle for controlling temperature mix was very loose, felt like it could fall off any minute. Was very clean, excellent beds and seating. Very quiet and excellent view of stream.

This is a few blocks off the main drag: quiet and still close enough to walk down to the main strip going through town. Clean and in good condition. The staff is very friendly and everything went smoothly. Stayed one night in early September and had no issues. Beautiful area.

John and Laura were so nice and friendly! It’s a beautiful lodge in a great location right next to the river. The scenery is beautiful. It was always fun to pop in to the office and talk with John.

Have been wanting to stay in Ouray for a while and was able to take advantage by booking a stay at the Rivers Edge. Such a cute little place just a little over a block from the downtown scene yet feels tucked away and serene. John was a wonderful host and we very much look forward to returning.

Absolutely amazing. We love the rivers edge. The people who own/work there are so nice and kind. We stayed last year too. We plan to visit rivers edge as often as we can. The bed was so comfy. Our room was clean and comfy. Awesome to have a fridge and microwave. Hot tubs are so warm and clean. We love it there.

The property was clean and comfortable. It was convenient to downtown and had a great atmosphere with a creek running along the side of the property. A couple of minor issues were that the bed was a double instead of queen size as was advertised. Also, no tissues were in the room.

Left owner list of things wrong in our room, he and daughter extremely nice but bed was horrible…lumpy and saggy with indentions from previous months or years worth of sleepers. Way too expensive to have broken items and unclean room (bedspread, coffee maker, faucet and towel rack and dirt on floor).

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Both experiences were great! Accessibility is great! We enjoy the hot tub in the river and the views that come along with it. Very walkable to everything in town! Highly recommend
