They make you checkout at 10am and come back at 3pm for checking in again which is annoying but the big onsen area I think is worth it

Discriminated against for having tattoos and not allowed to bathe. The manger promised me a refund but was dishonest and only provided half of the money back in return

Staff were friendly and some spoke English.
The location is great with lots of bars and restaurants around.

If you’re a foreigner, avoid this place at all costs. Checked in and was told “No tattoos in the onsen”—of which much has been written about internationally already, so won’t add to the ridiculousness of having this conversation in 2024—to which I said “I understand” and laughed with the lady, showing her both of my arms covered. I was booked for three nights. The next morning, I walked to the personal shower area and was physically stopped by an employee saying I couldn’t even shower with tattoos. I’d never encountered this before, asked a few questions and finally explained that I was here for 3 nights, and maybe I could just shower quickly a few minutes after the 10am check-out time, when no one was there. This was also refused, and so I then had to go downstairs and ask them to cancel my reservation, so that I could find another hotel that would allow a person with tattoos to shower. They refused, saying it was my choice to cancel, and I could just stay there and not shower, only adding to the shameful, greedy and immoral way of running a business—especially in a town with lots of tourists. After an hour on the phone with Expedia, they forced this hotel to cancel my reservation, and I finally was able to check out.
Long story short, in a country that goes above and beyond to welcome visitors, to treat them with respect, and to make sure their travels in Japan are enjoyable, there are still some who only see money, who refuse to join the rest of the world in 2024 with th

I got to experience 1980s Japanese style here, this is quite a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, especially the onsen on the 7th floor is quite amazing!

It was my first time in a capsule hotel, and it was an enjoyable one. This hotel is very close by to Dotonbori so it is very convenient for tourists in Osaka. The staff have in information in English too, which is handy if your Japanese is not the best. They give you everything you need (pajamas, bath supplies, shaving supplies, etc) which is great. Bathrooms are shared so be prepared for that (which is typical for capsule hotels). I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the experience.

I stayed for 4 days and I can say my stay was fantastic. The staff is the best I have experienced in Japan so far (I've been to 5 hotels here to far). They are all very nice and helpful. One of them speaks great English and helped me a ton during my stay. The hotel is also very clean all around, had no trouble there. The onsen and bath is well maintained and they give you everything you need in a bag. The front desk will give you a new bag everyday you comeback if you're stay multiple days. The hotel also has a public space to eat or do whatever while seating down. The problem is that there is a smoking room near it and the smell leaks into the public space. Nice that it's close if you're a smoker, annoying if you hate smoke. As for the area, it seems to be more of a residential area with a College nearby. Not much going on outside of a alley full of restaurants and a family mart nearby. The train station is also close by, probably a 3 minute walk. Fully recommend.

Deluxe room was spacious, clean and private, bed was comfortable. No private showers, bathrooms smelled a little funky (probably due to the cleaning solution used).

The establishment is located nearby Dotonbori and few minutes away (walking distance) from Ichiba Market. The staff were friendly and helpful. The capsule has only one socket so bring an adaptor or an extension cord with multiple usb ports and sockets for charging. You can borrow from the reception as well free of charge just in case you don’t have one. They have a built in spa as well which is amazing to use after a long day of walking. Will book again!

Other than the pillow being awful, this place was great for what it is

This capsule hotel is pretty minimalistic but clean. The hotel's interior is shoeless, i.e: you take off your shoe before you get to the reception. So it's rather relaxing to go about the hotel facilities in your slippers or socks. The sauna at the top floor is pretty well managed, nothing beats a hot shower followed by the complete sauna treatment. There is also an in-house restaurant, but I only stayed for one night so I have no idea how the food is.

Great location, easy check-in, very clean facilities for a capsule hotel

Very thin matress and pillow. Everyone walks on their socks which doesn’t effect the smell all too well. Noisy. No showers on your floor. Shared bathroom

Great place, nice location and very helpful staff. Also very nice with public bath included!! Nice collection of mangas.
Bonus: I tried the massage available in the same building (slightly discounted for people staying) and it was soooo good.

i wanted to try a capsule type hotel and i think i booked this by mistake considering its a "sauna spa" -- be aware if you book multple days youd need to check out at 10am then come back at 3pm... it was a hassle so I actually didnt even go back for my 2nd day... and the shower is upstairs where older men are using the spa/ sauna -- I wasnt used to the setting so i ended up not taking a shower , nor was ok to leave at 10am then come back -- considering I was a tourist , it was just off thta I had to carry my bag all over osaka for hours before having to check back in... im sure the place is nice but it wasnt for me

The private capsules are just the right blend of privacy and cheap. The onsen was also very nice.

This is my 2nd capsule stay and its horrible experience. Please read before you book.
I booked upgraded capsule with some personal space and was assigned to level 5's cabin.
I was perspiring and request for a change to a regular cabin but my request was turn down. The staff mentioned the temperature is 26 degree and other cabin would be the same. The upper level cabin is way too stuffy. So i ask for permission to rest for at common area to get pass the night but was not allowed.
They prepared a 1 inch thick pillow for you. There are not enough regular pillows to go around.
