Great overnight stay. Room quiet and well equipped. Self service kitchen in the evening, breakfast buffet with artisan pastries next morning. Good stuff 👍

The noise from outside at night was more severe than I had ever experienced, which prevented me from getting enough sleep each night. Otherwise, this hotel is good.

Great overnight stay at Alex Hotel to attend a concert at RAC Arena. Parking next door, easy check-in, and a short walk to RAC Arena, with plenty of dinner options on route. Will stay again!

Super little hotel, it was odd to have no fridge in the room but the commual fridge on level was very well managed. I liked how this hotel encourages communication with other guests by way of the commual facilties at breakfast time. Its an awesome little hotel especially for solo travellers. We were a group of 9, middle aged travellers, so we like the nicer things in life and this little hotel met those requirements really well. Centrally located, close to the train station and all the shops. Shopping was a breeze.

This is our second visit to Alex. Just an overnight but not disappointed. Very welcoming reception. Nice kitchenette with availability of hot drinks and cold water. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel, very nice communal areas. The room was stylish but no frills. I liked the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Couldn’t get the tv chromecast to work. I had no problem with noise, slept very well. Friendly staff and nice breakfast!

Great Location and a new way of staying in a Hotel. Felt like a share facility with great Level 1 section which had kitchen and work environment to use at anytime day or night.

The hotel is Cool neat modern with a dash of international flare generated by clever Design and the cosmopolitan staff ,free jelly snakes in a Large jar on front desk attended by a very lovely smiley Dutch lady

It is a lovely hotel in a good location central to all Perth highlights. The shared areas are very welcoming, and the breakfast is good, with a variety of juice, fresh fruit, pastries, barista coffee, and muesli. It is very eco-conscious. This hotel might not appeal to everyone for a few reasons: Rooms do not have a desk or fridge. The idea is to use the communal areas with comfy seating, tables and a communal fridge. The other qualifier is that the noise from the neighbouring pub music is quite loud, even with double-glazed windows and the earplugs provided.

When I stay here I have to work and the Alex is so well set up for this. The mezzanine floor feels like a second floor where I can work in a beautiful environment and grab a coffee or wine whenever I want. I always appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms too. Everything feels crisp and hygienic which is important to me.

have been booking co workers at this property for business, this morning he complained to me that the live band were playing till extremely late late and he had to get up at 4.30am for a flight. Rooms should be more sound proof for the area

Lucia is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel due to her professionalism. I used their free bike riding service and enjoyed their excellent vegetarian breakfast. Lastly, this place is high tech and eco-friendly.

The property is a lovely small, boutique hotel on the edge of the CBD. It offers easy access to Perth without being a large business hotel. However, because the property is in a busy neighborhood with many bars, restaurants and clubs, they lock the outside door early to ensure only guests can access the hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived around 9:30 pm and found it difficult to checkin. A better/ more obvious doorbell system would be useful.

The location is central, staff lovely, newly renovated, comfy beds and the continental breakfast was nice and included. BUT if you are a light sleeper like me, this hotel is not for you. Area is very noisy, air conditioning made a constant beeping noise and even after being moved, the live band in pub over the road kept me awake till after midnight.

Nice central location in the busiest part of the city. Transportation options in Perth are excellent, so if you prefer a quieter experience this might not be your spot. The room and staff were great, as is the decor. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The staff got out of bed and checked us in at 3am after our flight from Singapore was delayed by several hours. Amazing
