We booked one night at the inn because it was one of the only places close to where we planned to snowmobile the next day. It turned out to be the nicest room on our trip. The room was clean and large. The property is beautiful and on a lake. They offer many activities to go along with your stay. We stayed in January and we saw sleds and snowshoes to use and they turned two areas into ice rinks for skating. It seems to be more of a summer draw though. We saw canoes, water tricycles and many other things stored for use on the lake. Upon leaving my wife and I both agreed it would be a great place to spend a few days in the summer.

Love Bonnie View--we always stay here when possible. This time we stayed in the lodge and were very comfortable....great bathrooms and water pressure. We were sorry to see the wonderful stone fireplaces and the knotty pine paneling painted over--but time marches on...

Lovely little cottages for a getaway and company retreat

Amazing family-friendly resort with so many water vessels to play with included in our stay, a playground, and a great breakfast and lunch/dinner spots right on the grounds. Great spot for fishing too. You can really tell how much love and care goes into the place from all the staff. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful find. We only stayed one night but would love to go back for longer. Owner on site-he upgraded us to a wonderful Lake Front room. The room was great. Modern furniture. Nice bed and bedding. Balcony with chairs overlooking the lake. The Dining on the Lakeside Patio was great. Good food and location. Breakfast next morning in the redecorated old Lodge Building was really good. Very good value and would highly recommend this property.

We love the place so much that we plan to go back this fall.

I had the good fortune of being given a newly renovated room that was so lovely with an incredible view of the lake. Overall, Bonnie view is a gorgeous space with incredibly patient, kind, and helpful staff.

This lakeside summer resort has everything one could want as far as activities on the water,boats,swimming etc.,nice private beach and lounging area and a rustic,relaxed Haliburton vibe.I was solo visitor but it’s a great place for family mini vacations or seniors.

This is a tired, dated Inn. Room smelled like woodsmoke due to fireplace that was set with half burned wood. Smell lingered even after we removed wood. Baseboard heater situated directly below electrical,outlet for tv - fire hazard! Lounge was in use for private party and therefore not accessible to our small family group when we would have liked to use it. For the price, it was a disappointing experience!

Location, staff is great, food is good. Fireplace in the room is a must!

Loved the peacefulness of the lake and all the surroundings. Great place to get away if you want to wind down or lots to do if you’d rather be active.

The food quality and variety for dinner was excellent. Dinner orices were over priced. Decor inside main dining room and common area was lovely. Room was outdated (#11). Room was freezing upon arrival ( took us 6 hours to heat up with a combination of electric heater and lots and lots of wood into fireplace. When we complained we wwre told that house keeping had put heat on before our arrival and brought in an electric heater. We had to ask for more wood and it was all wet and frozen. I sat with my down jacket, and mittens and hat for 6 hours. There was no apology from front desk staff. Tv and satellite didnt work for the evening either. This was supposed to be a special night for us as we had been here 25 years ago. Floor near fireplace was old and needed redoing( even house keeping lady apologized for it). Towels were old looking and no 5 * at all. Husband fell onto his back on ice while going down hill near room. Maintenace guy said we ahoukd have gone the other way. How did that help us? Very disappointed.

Lets start with the reception - Andrea was very welcoming and accommodating. The place is quiet, very private and there are lot things to do. We went as a group of 4 families and the kids has a wonderful time playing in the water. The men were fishing while watching the kids. We played badminton, beach volleyball - we used their paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and all. They have motorized activities available as well. Fun last weekend before school started. We will definitely go back and stay longer.
