On the edge of the old town in a lovely old building. The room was newly renovated. Everything you need or want to see is within walking distance.

Great location. Rooms acceptable, if a little small. No on-site presence (except for a daily check-in) can leasd to problems, like when the hot water failed. Not sure this remote management works that well for clients

I had an awesome stay at Pensión Donistiarra! Very comfortable and clean room, great small balcony to enjoy the charming pedestrian street outside... GREAT location, close to everything, especially the main bus station, great for day trips (I did Biarritz) and airport connections. The parking was discounted (very close by, also at bus station), which was a bonus.

Clean. Great location, convenient to restaurants and shopping. Free coffee. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Smaller room for three of us, but typical.

location very good, amenities marginal. lack of any staff makes this hotel impossible. everything is done electronically with codes they send, but if you don't have connectivity because you are abroad you are dead in the water. While i was there ( three days ) at least 15 people included myself was stranded with no way to get in because we had not received the access codes, which they only send a few hours before you are due to arrive Expedia has done a miserable job in advising that there is no service at hotel location . you get a contact phone with your access codes which you did not recieve .

Very helpful staff. Very quiet, despite being so central.

It was a little hard to get into initially. Calling the desk on my phone didn't work and I had to wait for email to get answered before getting in.

Great location to easily get into the old town as well as across the bridge to the less touristy east side. Simple clean rooms, quiet, with great showers.

Description of hotel was not accurate. Staff at check-in spoke only Spanish. The yard where we had planned to chill with our friends did not even exist. The room was very small. However the location was perfect and the cleaning was really perfect

La pension esta muy bien y muy bien situada. Habitaciones pequeñas pero limpias. Lo único el check-in que es hasta las 21.00 horas pero nosotros no lo leímos bien y nos esperaron! Sin darnos cuenta hemos cogido la misma pensión en 2 viajes distintos y repetiríamos

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, modern clean bathrooms, good-size closets. Very comfortable overall. Nice area, short walk to beaches and the old city but not in the midst of it and its noise.

The staffs are polite and kind. Though there is no drink service in the rooms, these are prepared in common room.

Pensión Donostiarra is absolutely lovely. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and confidently recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. It is in the heart of the citys action, but still calm, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is delightful, courteous, and super attentive (special shout out to Ainhoa!); the accommodations are super clean; and the entire hotel itself is charmingly appointed. Overall, it exceeds its two-star rating by leaps and bounds. Hope to be back in the near future!

Good location but the room was rather small, front desk manager does not really speak english. Aircond in the room cannot be adjusted, either on or off.

I booked the hotel at over £100 a night and expected more for the money. The room had a wall painted in very strong colours which was to very poor taste and not as relaxing as it could be if th walls were white or a calming colour. The room didn’t have windows, apart from a small interior window. The WiFi didn’t work and reception was very low in the bedroom. On the second day, there was no coffee in the communal space, as we had been told. Apart from that, the location is very central but I wouldn’t book again. For the price, I’m sure we can get something much better.
