The stay was good but parking is limited and extremely hard not being 100% able bodied. Spots are very close to each other and there are 2 very limited parking lots across the street from the hotel. Didn't seem like the best part of town either. Service and hotel were great but you definitely need to alert with surroundings if alone.

It was almost too quiet! Slept in more than i should've but it was alright in the end.

For the most part it was a nice stay. The breakfast is a decent breakfast and nice they had water and coffee available most of the day.

Unfortunately when I arrived for my room, the first room was inhabited, the second room was already inhabited, the third room was not clean, and then fourth room they gave me was finally clean and not inhabited. When I spoke with the staff at the front desk and said this was not normal, she said that happens and that it was a new hotel. She said there was nothing to be done about the situation.

There was puke outside the entrance our whole stay. The floors of the lobby and elevator were sticky. Our room had some trash on the floor when we got there. Overall the stay was just fine, but the cleanliness needed some help.

The staff was wonderful

This hotel was very clean and the staff was amazingly friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast options were great. Only “issue” was in order to close the door to the room, you had to slam it to get the lock to catch.

Our room had no window to the outside, only to the hallway. Other then that the breakfast and coffee were good.

Car was broken into while we were checking in. Another car had its window smashed and was attempted to be stolen. Staff didn't seem to care.

I like the location and the feeling of safety

The room was wonderful and the hotel was great, but there was a security issue. Keys to rooms were not working, which is not the hotel’s fault, but there was a period of time when front desk employees were handing out universal keys to guests to unlock their rooms and just asking them to bring the key back eventually. I didn’t feel very safe knowing that any guest could have a key to get into any room at any time without an employee present. It would have been a very pleasant stay had it not been for that security issue.

Nice hotel but street so noisy

Would have liked to have our room cleaned during our 3 night stay, or at the least given fresh towels.

The staff was super nice and helped each of the guests to the room- due to the tech outage.

Our bathroom flooded due to the drain, not working properly, which cause them to put us in a different room.When we went to the different room it was occupied by another guest.

The staff is friendly, But the description is wrong. It does not have a bar at one point when I looked. It said it had a pool, The room we got had no window felt like we’re in a basement

Fantastic stay, right in the edge of town in walking distance to everything needed. Staff was super helpful and informative.

This hotel was located downtown so there were lots of things to explore.

The staff was AMAZING, Our shower leaked terribly and the toilet made a very loud sound and when we told the front desk (older black male who was awesome!) offered us to move rooms or sea with it cuz maintenance was gone. We decided to deal with it since we had a lot of stuff with us. Over all I wouldn’t stay here again because of the location- but the staff was amazing!

My stay overall was great. The only thing I wish they would update is there is no bar in the hotel anymore and parking is $15/night. Other than that location is really nice and the employees were great!

When I booked the trip - I requested 2 queen beds - When we checked in - they had me in a 1 king bed room - no 2 queen bed rooms available - our friends had to rent their own room - costing us A LOT of MONEY. This may be the last time I book through Hotels.com

Everyone was nice

When we checked into our room, it was on the bottom floor with a giant window that anyone could look through if they were walking past the building. We tried to close the curtains and it didn’t work even trying to manually close them. Mike the maintenance guy was the only one really apologetic and trying to help as best he could. We ended up requesting a different room and got shut down by the I assume was general manager. It wasn’t about until an hour later, mike was able to figure out a “temporary solution” with an extension cord in order to close only one of the blinds. Shout out to Mike for being the only one with real hospitality in that hotel. HE even was the one to offer us some snacks for our inconvenience. When paying full price for a hotel room, the least we could ask is for simple privacy such as being able to close the blinds so all of down town KC isn’t watching you sleep. Supposedly the next time we stay there we were told we could stay a night “for fee” but I highly doubt that was true.

Breakfast left a lot be desired they ran out of food, juice machine was mis labeled there were out of orange juice totally,oatmeal pot broke desired second day and was never refilled. The morning of the fourth day there was no coffee , coffee cups at 8:45 breakfast served until 9 .

Easy to get to. Parking is just across the street. Checking in was a breeze and staff was excellent. Had a good breakfast the next morning.
