The room was dated, bathroom old just appearance dirty. No soap in the shower. Husband had to stand in shower for over 10min while I went down to lobby to get soap. Not enough washrags and towel for 3 people in the room. which is what the reservation was for. As waiting on soap another customer was also waiting for towels.

The hotel stated it was handicap accessible with a roll in shower. The bathroom was absolutely not accessible for physical handicapped people. There were no grab bars anywhere in the shower or near the toilet. The shower was small and you had to step over into it. There was no way to get someone in that shower safely that had physical limitations. False advertisement by the hotel. We called front desk to asked for the room with a roll in shower as we had reserved online and they stated that all of their handicap rooms looked just like the one we had and that none of their rooms on the property had a roll in shower. Being physically handicapped, it was extremely hard to get in and out of the hotel through the side door where the handicap parking was available. We would have never booked this hotel. Had we known there was no handicap bathroom shower. Getting in and out of a hotel in a wheelchair with baggage is extremely exhausting. It is difficult to swap rooms much less swap hotels. Having traveled all day and being exhausted, we stayed in the room, but was not able to use the amenities we had reserved and needed. Extremely disappointed will never book a Holiday Inn express again they never use Hotels.com again.

Check in time was 3pm which we were there for. We were told the room wasn’t ready and we waited over an hour before we got our room available. The ladies at the desk were kind but there is no excuse for not having the room ready when the check out time is 11:00am.

Booked a suite and got a regular room, no towels in room. Too close to all the night clubs.

It was good first time being to Louisiana,roads were kinda confusing being majority one way streets but great place to visit most definitely will be back in a couple of weeks !!

The bed was super comfy and definitely the best part. The building itself is fine but older and a little run down. The elevator definitely needs to be cleaned. The room itself was clean though. I would stay again especially for the bed.

The staff did a good job given the product that they had to work with. This hotel is definitely worn and has a dingy feel to it, and the rooms are noisy because they are so close to the adjacent freeway. I was pleased with the breakfast that was included in the rate. It was better than what I expected given the condition of the rooms and the common areas of the hotel.

The desk staff were all absolutely sweet as can be. We didn’t utilize room service and kept a privacy hanger on our door, but whenever we passed them in the halls in the morning, they were always sweet and spoke with us each time. The hotel room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our daughter started school in Shreveport, so this hotel will be our regular place to stay when we go up to visit, as we live 6hrs away! On the down side, only one elevator was in commission and the pool turned green the day after we got there, but that was the only complaints we could have and to me, especially for the price, there wasn’t much to complain about!

The room was very comfortable. The bed was one of the best hotel beds I’ve had in a long time and the bathroom was great. They even had soft hand soap. Amazing!

The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that at check in I was told the front elevator was out and we would have to use the back elevator. Ok no problem. But, later that night after an evening out I returned to the hotel to find that the back elevator was out as well. Which wasn’t a huge issue until the next morning when I had to take the stairs with all of my luggage.

The lady at the front desk was so nice! We got in late and our kids were tired. She quickly got us to our room, but there was a problem with the electronic lock on our door (maybe a battery was out?). We couldn’t get the door to unlock and neither did she. She was very apologetic and promptly got us a new room. And that room was an upgraded room than what we had booked! The beds were comfy and the room was spacious and clean. We only wish we weren’t passing through so we could have enjoyed the hotel more!

My mother and I came into town for a convention and to visit family. Our rooms were very clean and nice, but looked like they needed a "refresher". The staff was very personal and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Musty smell in room and bathroom. Mildew around bottom of shower and the floors needed mopping. On the other hand the sheets were clean and bed comfortable.
