This is an older motel that has been recently remodeled. The renovations are nice but nothing can change the fact that the bones of this building date from an era when expectations of a motel were very different. While the king bed was comfortable, the room was barely large enough for it. The bathroom was small and cramped with no counter space and no place to hang more than a hand towel. The shower was the smallest I've experienced outside of England. It did have a refrigerator and microwave but no space for much else. (The picture showing sink and cupboards was not my unit.) The closet didn't even have a door because it was blocked by a large screen TV. The facility is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants in Pinedale's small downtown. The breakfast was good, however, there wasn't much space to eat. Luckily, the other guests were friendly. When I complained about the A/C being too cold, I was told to close the vent and turn on the baseboard heater (with heat and A/C on at the same time). This motel benefits from being one of the closest places to stay outside of the Grand Teton/Jackson Hole area. It might be fine for a one night stay as long as you aren't expecting luxury. I am just surprise that it has a rating 8.8. This is higher than many Holiday Inns or Marriott's in other locations. This motel does not even begin to compare to these branded hotels. It makes it really hard to select a place when guests give ratings that aren't applicable.

This is an older Motel that has been upgraded. The room was very clean and the bathroom was recently renovated with new tile and fixtures. The room had its own fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was was fruit and cereals with a small waffle maker. No other hot foods. Best price by far in town.

Cute little rustic room.

The bunk house was great - had a small kitchen and separate bedroom. Only problem was a dominant smell of cleaner/ freshener. Not good for those of us with sensitities.

This was a nice motel. Front desk staff was very pleasant! Since a smaller hotel they clearly explained everything and how to contact them if something was needed in the middle of the night. (Which everything was perfect for us and nothing was needed!) The room was very clean. The breakfast was nice for a little motel--bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit, muffins. I would stay again if we come thru this area again.

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful one night stay here. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and nice during our stay. We even woke up to a moose sleeping outside our window.

Clean room, great amenities. Breakfast was just okay....coffee tea toast bagel waffles cereal yogurt muffins fruit. Friendly staff, easy parking. Would definitely stay here again.

We previously stayed here a few months ago and the room, staff and location were amazing. This stay was very different. Room was ice cold when we checked in, staff was not very friendly upon check in nor did they freshen our room in the three days we were there. Our last day there, the morning clerk never arrived so the limited breakfast options they offer, weren’t available as no one was there. Love the location, but something definitely changed in the four months when we were last there. Very disappointing, would return if staffing improves. Plus, had to buy my own hairdryer as one was not in the room as previously in my last stay.

Clean no smells or dirty anything.

It's very simple but it's one of our favorite treasures! And the area in and around Pinedale is beautiful!

There was no heat in our room and their solution was a space heater that kept shutting off. We had no hot water.

The bathroom is the main problem. Very small. Tiny shower. The light switch is on the outside. If anyone uses it at night, it is loud and bright. It wakes others up.

Comfortable. Would have given a 5 but toilet ran all night and next door family yelling (not due to facility).

We got one of the smaller rooms, so we asked for a larger one. It was great! It's a typical motel style with the door directly to the outside. It's a little close to the highway, but if you get a room in the back that's not a problem.

Great room and priced very well. We were on a week road trip and it was the best place we stayed!

Carpet was very dirty. Unit had no refrigerator or microwave.

Call me old-fashioned, but I like the smaller, budget friendly, mom and pop, nostalgic, park next to your door, motels and this one fit the bill perfectly. I'm glad we stayed there in October though because there was no air conditioning in the rooms...only floor board heating.
