The pillows were so thin. It was like laying your head straight on the mattress. I asked for another one. It arrived 40 minutes later- actually that’s not quite true, a duvet arrived 40 minutes later. I folded it up and used it as a pillow. The shower is annoying. There’s a hole in the door so when you use it it soaks the floor. And you don’t have any spare towels to clean it. Also at 09:07 someone opened our door whilst we were sleeping. Granted we didn’t have our do not disturb sign up. But I thought they would have given a couple of seconds notice after knocking. They knocked on the door and opened it almost immediately.

It was pleasant, although the room is nonsmoking, you can still smell cigarette.

The location is about 20-30 minutes from the airport and Zurich HB station. It is a 15 minutes walk from Winterthur SBB station or you can take the bus. Supermarkets and Mcdonald's nearby. It is a typical Ibis budget hotel. Clean and tidy. Breakfast is basic.

Had to switch rooms as bed linens were filthy and had hair, food and who know what else in them.

The weirdest hotel we've stayed in during our 1-month tour in Europe. Very tight space. The shower room had an almost transparent glass door w/ a big hole that served as a handle to open and close door. So, to have privacy when taking a shower, we had to hang our bath towel from the top of the door and plug the door handle w/ our dirty shirts. The toilet, w/c was a separate room beside the shower also had a BIG hole where the door knob would usually be installed. Again, we had to be resourceful and used toilet paper to plug the hole and have some privacy. We were 3 occupants in the room ( in a double decker bed) and of course needed some privacy in toilet and bathroom. We had to ask for hand towels. Only regular towel provided for each. We had to ask for shampoo refill.

Nice to stay for short period. Need pay extra for parking. Great and helpful staff.

Felt like I was in a kids room, no closets, no dresser or anything to put our clothes. AC/HVAC on blow warm never hot or cold!

I needed a room at short notice. I had a van, parking was a bit tight but manageable. The room was of good quality and clean.

I though the hotel was in Zurich. This is very far from there. Had to pay 52 Euros every day to go and come back to Zurich. for 2 persons.It is near to the train station in Winterthur. The Budget hotel with no reception or personnel to ask for help.
