We were a little bit late so the key for our room was secured in a locker. That was handy. Room was clean and nice.

Only place I'll stay in Pismo moving forward. The place is simple, clean and im a great location. Laura at the feont desk couldn't have been nicer! Customer service isn't what it used to be but at Ocean Palms they hit the mark. Thank you!!

This property is great for traveling on a budget! Sometimes you run across independent hotels that are rundown, outdated and not clean. This hotel was just the opposite. It was really cute, very clean, and our associate who checked us in was lovely.

This is a well refurbished and remodeled old-fashioned motel outside stairs and the look from the 50s and 60s. The rooms were tastefully redone, clean, and immaculate.. The area where it looks like it used to be a swimming pool is now a sitting barbecue area across the parking lot, which looks very inviting. I would stay at Ocean Palms again when I’m in Pismo Beach. Great location was able to walk down to the wharf and to all the restaurants and bars. As long as you are not going there, expecting a five star experience and your expectations are realistic. You will find this to be a very comfortable and well located refurbished motel.

This motel was amazing! Very clean! No carpets, only hardfloors in our room. Thats a plus. The decor was modern and very functional. I loved the large hooks by the door! The service was top notch. I received texts and personal communication directly from the owner/manager from. The time i checked in till i checked out. That was very helpful and personable. I would highly recommend this motel and i would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

Just a 5 minute walk to the beach, nice! But very noisy being next to highway 101 especially if you want to take advantage of the ocean air and coolest. But worst was when we had a large bug run out of the bed the first morning there. That made us very uncomfortable, Reported what we found to the front desk. Housekeeping and front desk staff visited the room. Could not find the bug. Staff offered another room or a refund. Being grossed out we took the refund instead. When it came time to check out get the refund at the front desk they gave us only refunded for the reminding 2 nights we had plan to stay. Was told they will examine room further and if determined it was something they had control of they would credit us the Saturday night charge, which was higher than the other nights. They never contacted us on the outcome, nor respond to our calls. Not good business.

Very quiet and comfortable!

This was a great hotel for our one-night stay. Room was bigger than expected and comfy. One of the front desk women was Friendly and accommodating. Check in and out was easy. Location was walking distance to beach and downtown area. We’d stay again if in the area.

This place is very basic, nothing fancy, but it works well and it's affordable. They don't service your room each day so you need to keep your towels, but the bed was super comfortable and I slept well. Check-in was easy, as was TV and wifi. I would stay here again.

Had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Amazing little gem of a hotel. Located conveniently within walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants as well as an easy walk to the beach, you definitely get your monies worth. They have good size rooms and are very clean with comfy beds. They have excellent comunication and are very accomodating. They are pet friendly with a small fee and offer a small toy for yur furry friend. You really cant ask for more from Ocean Palms Motel. I just hope they keep their prices stay low so we can book here again everytime we come to Pismo.

Proximity to US 101 made for some highway noise.

The hotel was within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. However, the hotel appeared to be more like a 2 star hotel. Not bad, just a bit underwhelming for the price.
