Great stay, lovely property, very helpful staff, complimentary coffee, apples and biscuits in the reception area. Lovely little pool for cooling off. Would definitely return.

The property is located close to everything. Very walkable and close to the metro. It is on a tiny street in the gothic quarter so it is quiet. The bathroom was a bit awkward as it only had frosted doors and no real privacy.

Highly recommend! From the welcoming and helpful staff to the beautiful and comfortable rooms, to the location we loved it all! Even before our trip, the staff at the hotel was very helpful through the hotels.com app. Laura and Simo met us warmly on arrival and helped us navigate around the area as well as assisted in arranging our transportation to the cruise terminal for the next morning . The rooms were spacious and the beds were vey comfortable. We loved the fact that we could look out on our balcony for a fun perspective on the narrow streets of the Gothic quarter! The rooftop pool while small had a great rooftop view of the area where you can listen to the cathedral bells over a glass of wine. We will certainly return!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We loved our recent stay as my wife and I along with our 8 year old. Definitely would go back without hesitation!

Beautiful and spotless property. From front desk to breakfast room, staff was kind and helpful. We had one issue with our air conditioning, this took a few visits to the front desk but was resolved. Breakfast was delicious. Staff went above and beyond to help and helped make Barcelona one of our new favorite places to visit. The pool is small, and is more of a cool off pool than a swim laps kind of pool. The hotel is tucked away in a great location in Barcelona, very walkable to practically everywhere in Barcelona.

We had a wonderful experience! The quadruple room was perfect for our family of 4. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful! The area around the hotel was very nice with many shops and restaurants.

The hotel is well located in the heart of the Gothic district and convenient to La Rambla, metro, marina, and Boqueria. The staff are friendly and it is very quiet. I would stay again.

Although the entirety of the staff was fantastic, simo stood out the most, Also worth mentioning was there was a lady that checked us in, but I don’t remember her name… All that being said everyone was great and your hotel is very clean

Hotel was super clean and in a great location. Employees were top notch!

This was a very well located hotel - modern and clean although room was small with the sink next to bed so difficult to be discrete and quiet if you wake up in the night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable; the room was quiet but the doors make a very loud sound when they close so we were up half the night several times. This was very disappointing— even if the guests were quiet the slamming of the doors was incredibly disruptive.

This hotel is a well kept secret. The inside has been beautifully renovated while keeping its charm. The staff are all friendly and go above and beyond to be helpful and make you feel welcomed. Perfect central location. The room with 2 double beds was small but big enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. Our only regret is not being able to stay there for more than one night.

Issues with air conditioning that staff were not able to resolve. Lots of hallway noise. But staff tried their best. Hotel just not that well maintained.

Fabulous modern interpretation of an ancient stone building. Great gym, great breakfast, great location, the latter, both for travel on foot and access to public transportation, to the airport, etc. friendly and helpful staff. Definitely our new go to place in Barcelona.

Hotel itself is very nice inside…a hidden jem. Area around hotel has a lot of nearby shops and amazing restaurants and coffee shops. Bathroom in room did have a somewhat sewer smell but nothing obnoxious. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Felt safe walking around.

Great experience at the right price. Great breakfast buffet with omelet station. Close to Las Ramblas and the Gothic City, also to the port. Adrián was a great host and gave excellent tips for restaurants and transportation.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Fabulous central spot but also secluded. Roof too terrace and pool is fabulous with stunning views of the cathedral. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. What really makes this place is the staff, in particular Marco who went above and beyond and was is so friendly and made us feel so welcome.

From the minute we walked into Catalonia Magdalenes, we knew we made the right choice for our stay in Barcelona. Upon our arrival, the staff was very welcoming. Adam escorted us to our room and did a great job of explaining everything. We caught up with him daily and got great restaurant recommendations. He went over and above what we expected. Simo was very helpful at the desk and arranged transportation to the port. The rooftop was really nice. And the bonus was Roman ruins in the lobby! The room was beautiful and well appointed. All of the staff was wonderful. The location was perfect. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. We definitely recommend staying at Catelonia Magdalenes!!!

Loved this hotel! It’s a beautiful hotel in a great area. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The balcony was a bonus. Loved it! I would definitely recommend this hotel and hopefully have the opportunity to stay there again.

Perfect location

The hotel was perfectly centered to all of the attractions we wanted to see. It was in a great neighborhood for seeing Barcelona, cafes, dining/drinking options and was very clean
