I can confirm that this hostel (unlike some other ones in Managua) is still open and operating! I stayed here in July 2021. The guys at the front desk are helpful. They can give you info about the other places where you might want to travel in Nicaragua.

Very friendly, great location, decent facilities. For a budget, it works great. Not the nicest, but the people more than make up for it! Will definitely be adding this to my Managua rotation of go-to places to stay.

The hostal failed to answer my request for their shuttle, so I was left to find my own ride to the hostal. Though I was getting a private Bathroom, but it was a shared Bathroom. Otherwise clean, and average rated.

We booked a room online and received the confirmation email. We use Orbitz all the time and never had an issue with a reservation. When we get to the hotel they said they didn’t have any more rooms available for us. We asked them if they had received an email with our reservation and they said they did but they couldn’t explain why a room wasn’t available for us if the reservation was confirmed. They could have at least emailed us to let us know about this before we drive all over the city to find the place. They offfered to take us to another hostal around the area but when we looked it up online it looked awful. We ended up just driving around Managua looking for another hotel. Very disappointing!

Dont look anywhere else if youre looking for nice hostel and youre on a budget, even if youre not on a budget I would recommend it anytime.
