Great location downtown for going to the Longhorns game.

The front desk guy was amazing. But the room had a smell, the carpet can also use some cleaning. Overall for the price I wouldn't stay again. It seems like an old hotel that they tried to remodel.

The location is good for access to UT or downtown. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Our room was right above a bar with loud music the night we arrived. On top of the music, our AC didn’t work. Granted it was November so not detrimental but uncomfortable. Oh and the carpet just kind of looked dirty…They did switch us and upgraded our room the next night which was a suite with a kitchen and bedroom. That room was really nice! No carpet! I would stay there again with my family if I stayed in the suite…

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very difficult to get quality sleep given music venues operating next door until 2am. Incredibly loud over three nights which left family completely exhausted. Even ear plugs didn't work.

This is an issue with all Hyatts and breakfast. Their eggs are disgusting and soaked in salt. No one should eat them.

Very courteous and helpful staff...especially the valet staff. My husband is in a wheelchair and each time they helped me lift wheelchair into back of car. Even though I could do myself, it was nice of them to offer and to insist on the assist!

Room was fine but clubs around playing loud music at night. Valet needed more help. I had to get my own car out of garage. Wasn't his fault, he was alone and swamped. If I am going to help myself then don't charge me $45 to calet my car.

Great location, very clean and well maintained, great breakfast. Only complain is that the mattress was far too soft for our taste and felt like we were sinking in it… other than that all good, great staff, specially the parking boys, super polite

Excellent spot. Quite loud on a weekend. Slept with ear plugs. But perks of a central area outweigh the downsides. Scrambled eggs could use some TLC.

The Front Desk staff in this hotel are wonderful--as are the valet parking crew and the breakfasts. The rooms are fine and the fitness center is good enough. The only drawback is that the hotel is surrounded by homeless shelters, and the 8-minute walk from the lobby to Downtown can seem a bit dodgy. But the politeness and efficiency of the staff make up for a lot.

You need free parking for guests. I will not be staying in your hotel again, because of the lack of free parking for guess. Everything else was excellent.

Amazing stay for my family of 4 from beginning to end! Our room was perfect for our 4 night stay in Austin and had everything we needed and more. Free breakfast was legit, way better than the free breakfasts other places offer. Valet parking is expensive, just like any other hotel in the downtown area, but the hotel is located on the side of all the hustle and bustle so we were able to find parking on the streets every day during our stay. Staff was also so sweet and gave my daughter a goody bag for her birthday upon our arrival. Definitely recommend Hyatt house for families visiting Austin!

We love our room. We had everything we need. We even have a dishwasher. Hyatt House also has a nice, small pool which the children love! Will stay here again next summer.
