Great hotel with in walking distance of town.host was very helpful and room was great would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant host, property very tired and basic b&b messy and dirty in hall ways, bedroom clean but very old looking, Soundproofed !!!! Could hear talking and laughter until very late, not good if you need to be up early. Basic quality pillows and bedding, shower was very good, shower and toilet together, sink in bedroom! Quick breakfast available if required for free. Would not stay again.

I am an author and I don’t have words adequate enough to describe the warmth, comfort and the owner’s effort to make our stay so so memorable. I’ve been to many many hotels around the globe but this hotel had the most alluring ambience ever. It screamed kindness and warmth in every sphere. Everything was done with so much of warmth and deliberation. The generosity was just so overwhelming and there was an abundance of everything. Everything was perfect and it wasn’t about the stay it was encouraging to note that people like this still exist in some small corner of our world. People who value humanity more than money. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Driftwood . Pete the host was very friendly and there were many thoughtful extras , such as bottles of water in the room . I would recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Weymouth .

The property was a last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised. The owner was available on the phone if required. The check was easy. Nice touch with biscuit jar in the room along with plenty of tea/coffee for our 2 night stay. The dining room was very well stocked with breakfast items. Lots of choice, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, toast, fruit juice etc. Only downfall of the dining room was the lack of somewhere to clear your rubbish/ plates to. On the 2nd day there were a few people in and no clean tables. Most people would clear away if facilities were available. It was no more than 10 minute walk to the beach and shops so great location too. Owner was very friendly when we saw him on site. Would definitely go back. Great Stay.

We stayed there for 1 night, room was nice and clean, bathroom/shower room was lovely. Self service complimentary breakfast such as fruit, toast yogurts. Definitely stay there again.

It is a reasonable priced b & b, near to the harbour and shops with lots to see and do. Also close to the train station and nearby bus services.

Clean and comfortable which is what I need for a one night stay, slept very well. There was a lot of help yourself choice for breakfast but no milk or butter which really bought the choice down. There was nobody around to ask for these items. Stay overall was a good experience.

Very friendly B&B stay. Great for a couple or small family. Very local to town centre (5-10 minutes walk) and right next to the Rodwell Trail if you fancy a cycle or walk to Portland. :-)

Booked last minute as struggled for some time to find available accommodation with onsite parking which was a must. Really friendly and pleasant owner. Nice room with ensuite.Breakfast included was a bonus.Ticked all our boxes.

Stayed overnight with a 5 year old who loved the bunk-beds.

First time I have stayed in this B&B. It is really comfortable, parking is onsite, there is plenty of condiments in your room and was very quiet. Breakfast in the morning was perfect, although there was no cooked breakfast available, the selection of cereals, yoghurts, and juices was more than enough. I have stayed in many Bed & Breakfast’s and to be honest this is one of the nicest. Will definitely stay again.

Used as a base for visiting around the area, very friendly host, clean and large family room, would book again. Would have benifited with a cooked breakfast, although a varied light breakfast was provided.
