Great location in a great place stayed overnight on the way to Italy loved it

The shower was very difficult to use for me. The water shot across the shower and I was unable to make the shower head stream in a usable direction. It was a hand held shower head. So I held it in my hand while trying to use liquid soap with the other one. The soap was watery - but smelled good. I guess I needed to carry a washcloth and a bar of soap. The location to downtown colmar is excellent. It was worth what we paid for but the room was very small. It was comfortable enough.

Due to a train delay we arrived a few minutes after the closure of the reception at 22. Since we knew we would be late, we called ahead to inquire how to get in after closing time. We were given a code to enter into a machine at the entrance. Unfortunately, the code didn’t work when we arrived and we had to spend half an hour trying to reach a human person on the phone. Eventually someone from staff arrived to let us in but no apologies for the trouble were offered neither that evening or the following morning

Convenient for short stays, close to Colmar Centre

Situated approximately ten minutes from the picturesque old city of Colmar, getting to the hotel is relatively easy. If you are flying in from Basel I recommend you book a Flix bus in advance to take you to Colmar rail station. It doesn’t cost much and only takes an hour. From there you can either walk to the hotel, which will take around twenty five minutes or alternatively look out for one of the small free electric buses that frequently turn up at the station and get off at rue Stanislas. From there it’s just a five minute walk. We found the staff at the Ibis to be friendly and helpful. We decided against the breakfast option. While it did look pretty good we chose to eat around town instead. Although our room was small it was very clean and complete with an on- suite shower/toilet and a wall mounted television. We thought the mattress was a bit too hard but as we were only on a weekend break it was just about bearable. Access to the room was via a numbered key pad on the door. If you arrive early the reception will securely store your bags for you, so you can have a quick look around the town and the check in at the required time later, which is 3pm onwards. We think for a short break the Ibis Central Ville represents good value for money and would be happy to stay there again should we ever return to Colmar.

It was a nice hotel in the center of everything. Walkable distance to the park and Little Venice

Room was clean. Staff provided a great service. The hotel is located at walkable distance from the centre.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s 15 minutes walk from the train station and 5-6 minutes walk to bus stops for local buses. Also very close to all attractions. It’s very well managed. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Joanna and Emma were super helpful with their advices at the reception. Croissants couldn’t be more fresh as they just come from the oven. Thank you for making my holiday enjoyable. I come here next time as well.

The hotel room was to small fot the 2 of us. So we had to spent most of the time out, on the other wah its centrally situated to the city centre

Car parking is poor

Average Ibis hotel. Great staff. OK breakfast. Not many restaurants without a short walk. Quiet, clean, good value. Would stay again.

Very good place for a Budget hotel, no roomkey but 6 digit code, good breakfast, room is tiny but has all you need. Parking is very limited, you’ve to reserve as early as possible. Location is excellent in just minutes walking from ancient city..

nice staff & breakfast included, good area

Ideal location on the outskirts of old town Colmar. Most attractions, restaurants and shops are easily reachable on foot. Quiet location and friendly staff. Rooms are compact but ideal for a city trip when I spend most of the time outdoors.

Excellent staff. It’s a budget hotel, so size was expected. Had to ask for more pillows (only one for a room of three). Would have been better if shower door wasn’t partially see through considering there’s no extra space to change.

The toilet ran continuously after it was flushed. The shower door did not close properly. There was no hot water. The vending machines for drinks were out of order. I could hear the people in the next room.

Great location; No frills hotel. The hot water was used up by 9am so that was annoying. Bed was uncomfortable/too hard. We only stayed one night so it was fine as long as you don’t have high expectations. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very clean as well.

this property is a two star, but i would say a zero star. the whole place felt dirty and run down. the elevator was not working. the room was so small you could barely walk by the bed. the shower smelled of mildew and we did not use it. there was a lot of road noise throughout the night. at 4am a party of girls came back from partying making noise in the hallway for some time.
