Staff (students) we’re very dismissive during check in, not even acknowledging that I was there. Very unprofessional.

The building itself is in a Gothic, art deco style. It kind of reminded me of the hotel in the shining! The rooms were rather large, clean, and considering the hotel is probably close to 100 years old, in pretty good condition. The location is a very nice location, right in the middle of campus.

Simple one night stay for my daughter’s campus tour. We thought the room was really comfortable. The location is fantastic and really easy access for everything.

The room was great - clean, roomy, in great condition. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated. It was very clean and nice.

We were amazed at the great stay at the Biddle! Great customer service from the start of the check in to the check out! Room was spotless, quiet and very comfortable. The finishes in the bathroom, nice toiletries and nice little extras like coffee/coffee maker, bar sink and fridge were really appreciated. We saw housekeeping staff cleaning the rooms day and night. Really an outstanding stay!

Great stay to visit our nephew at IU. Perfect location. The room was super clean and cozy & it was so fun to stay at the union!
We'd definitely recommend this place and hope to be back soon!

Very nice accommodations. Since it's in the student union there are many places to sit in relax or get food. Starbucks on the first floor. You dont have to leave the building. Outside its walking distance to the stadium, university dorms, other restaurants, etc.

The Biddle was very nice, and the location couldn't be more convenient being in the Union. Lots of restaurants downstairs. The room was small but comfortable, though there wasn't great temperature control. The windows opened to allow a nice breeze though. Even being on campus there is minimal noise from students.

Most convenient place to stay for an IU Bloomington campus visit. Close to campus, sports arenas and downtown. Beautiful setting. Walkable distances. Several small shops in the student union building provided drink and snack options.

I was put into a room with garbage on the floor, no sheets, and dirty linens on the tables. I was moved to a clean room but this is the 2nd time in a month that I have stayed there ONLY because of its location, I prefer the Graduate. Both times, I was placed in a dirty room and had to be moved. So frustrating after a long trip and no accommodations to the bill were made at all.

Hotel is very nice and we loved the IU stitching and colors...nice personal campus touch. I'd recommend red artificial flowers as accents in the room, but otherwise beautiful and spacious. Parking is very convenient and a huge bonus. Centrally located on campus.

Good: Located inside the IU campus and walkable to downtown area and restaurants. Room is good size and clean.
Not so good: Internet wifi is poor. Bed is not so comfy and had a creaking noise when tossed around. Used fitness center which is dirty with dust and no towels/water. Daily car parking fee of $6 is charged for guests.
Overall ok, good for people who fly in and dont have a car.

The mood of the hotel was impressive. Limestone exterior, brass and oak interior. A few things were missing for an excellent rating. The ice machine was a mile down the hall (it seemed). No microwave, but there was a refrigerator. The thermostat couldn't decide if it should be hot or cold. The biggest advantage was that it was on the IU campus!!!
