The guest house was nicely situated near the dining shopping in beach area. Staff was helpful and nice. Beautiful view of the ocean in coastline from our balcony My only cons: There is no designated parking, so it's by chance if you find a Parking spot close to the guest house. Minor detail, but the towels were very dingy and old.

Staying at the O Castelo Guest House was the best! As soon as we walked into the room, overlooking the beach and cliffs, we decided to keep the car parked and relax and enjoy Carveiro, skipping the agenda to explore other towns on the Algarve coast. The location was perfect for taking the cave tour on a small boat, swimming, dining, and walking around the Algar Seco cliffs. The reception was welcoming, and the picnic basket breakfast was perfect for starting the day's adventure.

Very nice staff, in a nice and quiet area with lovely views of the beach and sea. Would definitely recommend.

View from our room was a postcard for the Algarve coast; local food, drink, shopping was all great. The 2 block uphill walk from village was rewarded w/ a large comfortable room w/ a view.

This small Guest House is one of the nicest we have ever been to. We had a sea view room and the view was just magnificent. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay there if we ever find ourselves in the Algarve area again 😎

This place is ideal. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean, cliffs and the beach. quite frankly you can’t ask for better. It’s not to far from things but far enough not to be noisy. The view is beautiful. The room was modern and clean. It’s a small hotel of about 12 rooms. We highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room and view were wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The balcony was a great addition for a morning breakfast or an afternoon rest.

This is a beautiful located and charming hotel. I feel like I found a slice of paradise in the corner of the Algarve coast. The staff was wonderful and as charming as the decor of this hotel. The breakfast on the balcony delivered in picnic baskets was the caring touch you will not find everywhere.

Excellent location near the ocean and centro. Our room had a large balcony with great views. The workers were all very friendly. We had the hotel breakfast both days on the balcony and it was great as well. We would definitely recommend room 6 we stayed in and would stay again without hesitation. Parking was within steps of the entrance and we didn’t find driving there an issue at all.

Amazing view of Carvoeiro beach. Option to buy breakfast to eat on your balcony is a nice touch, unfortunately it rained so we ate it in our room. One of the staff quickly brought in our table and dried it off. Our room was right off of reception we were able to hear everything through the door. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We couldn't recommend this Guest House enough. Ruth and her team were amazing and made us feel at home. I'd highly recommend the breakfast on offer, especially if you have the sea view, it's the best view in Carvoiero. We plan to come back again and will most definitely stay here!

Lovely! Amazing views and excellent service. It was so peaceful to eat breakfast each morning overlooking the ocean and go to bed each night to the sound of the waves. The hotel was clean, in an excellent location, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Loved this guest house. We stayed in Jan 2024. Only complaint is the shower door didn't keep the water in the shower and ended up with pool of water in the bathroom that extended into the room. Staff super friendly and the terrace was lovely.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Carvoeiro and had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was perfect with stunning views of the beach. We were particularly impressed with Catia who was incredibly helpful and dedicated to her job. She gave us fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area, and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book it again on our next visit to the Algarve.

Small hotel with a fantastic location and view over the bay. Service was really great. We’re able to borrow a beach umbrella and beach towels. The room was very clean and had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The only slightly negative part was a very small and not so sound or waterproof bathroom. Otherwise everything was great

We were amazed at the view from our balcony at O Castelo! It was fit for a celebrity couple! Seriously, we would recommend this hotel for a couple ( not with kids) who wants to get away from "the hub", but still walkable for restaurants, shops and bars. It was magical, seriously...with attentive check-in personnel, to a fantastic large room overlooking an alcove beach, to a personally delivered private breakfast with everything you would need, to a VERY comfy bed (which we all want, right?!). We loved this little hotel and the little town on the beach. We highly recommend this boutique hotel.
