Staff was EXCELLENT.

As a solo traveler, I initially felt a bit apprehensive about staying at this hotel, but my experience turned out to be wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially other solo travelers. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Although I had the unfortunate experience of having my phone stolen at the beach, the staff went above and beyond to assist me, providing clear guidance on the steps to take. The food was truly delicious, with the breakfast buffet being a standout feature. While the pool is on the smaller side, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. All in all, I’d give this hotel a solid 9 out of 10.

Lovely hotel with a rooftop view of Copacobana

Everything you need is walking distance. The vendors are great. You are right on the beach. The beach front restaurants are fun and you are a minute or two from walking to downtown restaurants for more local food. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff very friendly. My only compaint is the lunch/dinner menu at the hotel. I ate dinner there once and I was not pleased but there are so many other dinner options right there.

One staff member was a bit rude but everyone else was amazing! Located right across the beach from Copacabana beach. Hotel was clean, roomy and the breakfast was yummy! Located in a very walkable area.

The Hotel room was very clean, the deluxe room with the balcony overlooking Copacabana Beach is fabulous. The shower was fantastic. Jonatan and Eloisa were great at breakfast. Maira at check in was friendly and helpful. Check out was not very nice; we were not asked about our stay or shown appreciation for our business. Nor were we were given the food and beverage discount per our Expedia reservation, despite showing our reservation to the front desk. This was our second stay in two months, and we enjoyed our stays. However, we were not recognized as return customers, which is disappointing.

Attentive and friendly staff. Good location and beautiful view of Copacabana from the roof top pool / terrace. The food at the hotel's restaurant and the breakfast was very good. I reserved multiple rooms during my stay and noticed inconsistencies among them. Only the room with a view had a coffee machine. The quality of matresses also differed. The rooms do not have hair dryers. The check-in / out area is small and the process is very slow. Allow ample time to check out.

The hotel nobody spoke English. Nobody helped with anything and it was a disaster. I’m sure if they had some English-speaking person. It would be a pleasure.

Had everything to be a 5 star review but I was refused water by hotel staff, and had to escalate it to the manager and show them the local law that states that hotels must offer filtered water to guests in order to get some water from them. They didn't even apologise for such behaviour and continued not complying with the law. I am not coming back.

Arrived at hotel super early around 8am. We were able to check in early and get breakfast. Loved this option. Also, the hotel offered an option to hold our luggage past checkout and gave us a room for 30 minutes to Freshen up before our flight at 9pm. We maximized our stay in Rio.

Great customer service. Strict no guest policy.

We booked a standard room and got a standard room--despite Expedia leading us to believe that we'd get an upgrade. And that's OK, but we were very disappointed that one of the rooms allotted to us (we had booked 2 rooms) had water seepage. Plus, despite our request--made one day earlier--that we get two rooms next to each other, we were given rooms on different floors. This is inexcusable because the hotel had ample time to give us two rooms next to each other: we didn't check in until 8 am the NEXT morning (our flight landed at 6 am and I didn't want to not be able to nap--in case we felt like it--after a long flight and jet lag), and I emailed them the previous morning. Then, after promising to have a new room ready for us in 30 minutes, it took them an hour to do so, while my wife and daughter were made to wait in the lobby. More than the delay, it was the lack of courtesy--for example, my wife had to proactively go to the desk and ask for updates about when the room would be ready, rather than the front-desk person providing it to her--that was more bothersome. In addition to these problems, one of the rooms (605) we have has a bathroom door that's stuck--it doesn't open or close easily. I haven't bothered to complain about this because I am sharing the room with a family member (so it's OK if the door isn't fully shut) and we are only now here for one more night anyway.

Property was amazing! The biggest issue was we got robbed directly outside of the hotel. When we told staff they told us that it happens sometimes which is disheartening despite several security guards. Either than that it was great.
