We were greeted quickly when we came in, check-in went smoothly and the room was clean. The only complaint we had is the door to the bathroom is a sliding and kind of see thru door with a gap of about an inch. A lot of hotels are doing this and I'm not sure why. Plenty of places to eat and a Walmart nearby if you forget any toiletries.

All good except I had no hot water. I was there for three days and two nights and couldn’t shower! I informed the front desk, but never heard back from anyone and water remained cold. I even left the water on hot for 5 minutes in case it took awhile for it to get to the top floor, but that didn’t help.

We try to stay here everytime we are in Topeka. The hotel is very clean, staff is amazing and location is convenient to everything you need.

We’ve stay at this hotel several times while in Topeka. It’s our favorite place to stay in town. It’s clean, very comfortable and close to everything. The staff is amazing!!

Checked in at 3 tv would not work. Called desk several times finally had to go down there and was told they never called anyone cause he was busy with customers. Told him I am a customer and he just emailed at me like it was funny. Will never go there again and would like a refund

Daisy was helpful getting me into a room ahead of schedule after a long drive in from Denver. The room was really clean, spacious and the decor was really nice. It was quite regal at wntry. The only challenge I had was the hallways dont seem to have a subfloor, so you could hear people pacing walking (and some kids out of control for an hour or so).
Definately recommend and would be back anytime I was in the area.

The room was clean. The curtain falling off its rod, the cord to the shade stripped of its beads and could not be moved up or down, a piece of the air conditioner was falling off, the doors to clothes cabinet over lapped and were in unable to close and the mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work. When I showed the young clerk pictures of the repairs that needed to be done she could have cared less. I was nice about it but she didn’t bother to write anything down. I asked to speak to the manager and she said he wasn’t there. I wouldn’t be writing this review if she had just acted interested in my concerns.

Mouse or rat poop was in several spots of the gym. Pool was cloudy and not clean. Surprised that Wi-Fi was not free and breakfast was $18 a person. Unfortunately our AC was also extremely loud each time it cycled on throughout the night as well.

System was down so had to check in on paper and be escorted to my room. If you ever left your room you had to get escorted back. Apparently this had been going on for at least a few days.

The hot tub was out of service & the pool didn't look very inviting either (pretty cloudy).

System was down and person working the front had no clue what to do. Wasn’t able to see our reservation or help at all. We got put in a room with one bed. Even when I told her we needed a pull out couch. We reserved a 2 queen room. Understand it’s not her fault but a manager or someone who could handle 3 pm check in should have been there to help.

The building was nice, the rooms were up to date and clean. I liked the hotel itself. The staff experience was very poor. They always appeared to be bothered to be dealing with us when we went to check in, went to the bar, and checked out. Not warm, friendly people at all.

This Hilton Garden Inn has a lot of things going for it. It's incredibly convenient to I-470 through Topeka. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We really appreciated the option to order breakfast from a menu, rather than being stuck with the breakfast buffet. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our only quibbles with the hotel are really nitpicking details that you might expect from a more upscale facility.

Check in was very uninformative had to pry out details about the hotel. All that was said do you have id i gave him that he handed me the keys and that was it did not tell me room number or where to park. Seemed annoyed when I asked

A person with no name tag, in a plain t-shirt and headphones in checked us in. They didn’t really greet us, say much of anything, or describe anything about the hotel amenities or where the elevators were. It was very strange. Other than that, the hotel was clean and very nice.

Love staying at this hotel when in Topeka. The rooms are always super clean, the beds are super comfortable, the breakfast downstairs is very good (it’s not included though but worth the money).

The hot water took forever to reach our room and then when it did, it wasn't very hot. Ever! I would think the hotel owners would keep up on the maintenance of their rooms. Grout missing between tiles in the bathroom, spray foam still visible above the a/c unit. The bathroom door neither stayed closed or open, just rolled to the middle somewhere.

Comfortable, well-appointed property. Great beds, great shower, quality linens, friendly staff. A winner all around. We will now regularly choose Hilton Garden Inn when we travel.

My reservations were cancelled by expedia and i had to rebook with hotel. None of this was conveyed
to me. Also...i still have a charge from expedia for this reservation with no refund posted. Expedia owes me money. Not at all happy with this third party money pit.
