I have about 50 nights at hotel every year. I live in Norway and I have stayed in Kenya for many years. Without doubt I will not stay at this hotel anymore. Poor service (thought it wasn't possible in Kenya) all inclusive had more restrictions than included, and several times it took so long time to get anything so we just left. Very few guests at the hotel, while others was full. So that says enough. They had gym, two pools and beach access, but everything old and outdated.

We arrived around 10 pm after long flight and offered fresh mango juice at front desk which was thirst crunching. After this the horrible experience started when we taken to the room. Next to the room there was you g kids party going on and therefore requested for quieter room as we wanted to have shower and go to bed. After unpacking we found that there was no hot water to have shower which apparently the staff at the front desk was aware but despite we were taken to the room. After reporting the water issue we were asked to move third time. We were told tired to move so told them if we could just have shower in another room instead of moving. That was denied so we stayed in the room and went to bed. When we were sleep the phone rang and it was front desk asking us if we could move. We replied to the caller that we will talk in the morning and which we did to the staff. The manager was not available, the staff tried to contact but he would not answer. The staff gave us the contact card to which he was emailed. So far has not received any response back. We had paid at the time of booking with Expedia.

The hotel is located between Old Town and Nyali which is quite convenient. The room furnishings and ambience is lovely. The only complaint would be the noisy loud bar music coming from the pool bar until late hours and the pillows that are not very comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. I would recommend you stay here when you visit

No water on nigh, no hot water next 2 days. Breakfast wasn’t great, the one other meal eaten there was “alright” The staff are very generous and friendly and should find jobs at a better property

Nice place next to highway. The noise from traffic can be high if you get the room in the block facing the highway.

I was over charged and never stayed in the room I paid for . I would never use Expedia again to book anything as you don’t do your homework about properties as they don’t know how to treat their customer.

I am in wheelchair ♿️ and they really treats me like a King the employees and their managers are fantastic. One guy his name was Douglas was really good.

Large room Old facilities Simple breakfast No market & restaurants around

The place is fabulous, and the service was great. Nice terrace. But one issue they have to work on is finding a way to contain or keep the flies away. Flies can easily distribute bacteria after landing on human or animal stool, dead bodies, and rotten things around us. So keeping flies away is very crucial.

Property Needs an update , very poor condition. Bathrooms not cleaned properly , doors to balcony not closing properly, air condition just making noise instead of cold air . Very poor property generally would rate as a 2 star not a 4 star property

Very convenient location. The front desk staff was helpful. Lifts were not working. Room had not been thoroughly cleaned and items were still in refrigerator and glasses had been used. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the staff accommodating.

Great customer service, great room size, facilities could be better maintained

I was disappointed with this hotel as it felt like I was staying in a motel. The elevator broke and I had to haul my luggage down 3 flights. It lacks cleanliness and maintenance. I booked according to the reviews but was sadly shocked that the ratings are the opposite of what I experienced. In fact, Mombasa is a disappointment, and I was happy that I only booked one day in this town. Never will I ever go back!!!

I had booked to treat my family in Kenya. The staff were very helpful offering excellent services. Food very good. Loved the cleanliness. The rooms are very spacious. Responded to any inquiries in a timely manner. Would definitely book again.

It was an awesome stay

An amazing hotel in the middle of Mombasa. Ideal location with very easy transfers. Excellent communication and support before and during the trip, helping us book train tickets and meeting our safari guide. Hotel room, facilities and outdoor area were perfect. Very quiet and clean. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay very special. The food was amazing and so much choice. They even made us take away breakfasts for our very early 5am starts. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This hotel was much nicer than i had expected from reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. It was actually a lovely hotel and large rooms. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the the duvet which was super heavy and hot and there was no tpp sheet.
