Close to city centre and where i needed to be Room was clean just need to sweep the cobwebs off around the walls

This motel has an excellent location in the middle of Broken Hill, close to shops, restaurants, takeaways etc. It is on one level, with most parking outside the units, which makes it good for older people or those with mobility issues, who don’t want to climb stairs. Facilities were comfortable, with a good shower and comfortable chairs. Keys were available contact free outside the office, probably a COVID precaution, so I didn’t speak to staff. The only drawback was traffic noise, and a strange continuous noise about 5 am, which seemed to come from a nearby room.

The shower was really good. Only problem is that we paid them, having forgotten that we had previously paid through wotif.

The room we had was disappointing, it smelled of sewerage and gave us a dreadful headache also the bedding was inadequate. I would not recommend anyone to stay there, would have gone elsewhere but no vacancies available.

Room 7 they put us in had a leaking toilet base and the entire room smelt like sewerage and covered up with air freshener. It failed.. advised that no other rooms were available. To top it off, there were covid positive people in isolation in the rooms on either side. We didn't stay.

Lovely older motel - but I mean in the sense that it's almost historic. Nice big rooms. Handy location on the main street, and walking distance to everything in the middle of town. Would stay again.

Convenient location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I informed the motel that I would be arriving late prior to my arrival and I received a phone call and text message to go over the procedure of obtaining my key. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the state of the room upon my arrival. The floor was not vacuumed, the bed was unmade from the previous guests, towels were on the floor of the toilet area, no clean/dry ones left. As I arrived late and departed early there was no one I could talk to to arrange a new room or to clean up the room.

Arrived at the accommodation but did not have a code to access key in the automated system. After several attempts to contact on the number displayed, I received a return phone call and was told that my booking was for the following day. On checking my booking I found this was correct (we had cancelled a day on the south NSW coast due to the Covid scare down there and I had forgotten to change the booking) The lady said in a very frustrated tone that she would have to come to the motel to sort this out as she couldn't do it from home and then hung up - no time to thank her and no goodbye to me. So I waited (during this time other travellers arrived but couldn't get their key so called her and she told them she was coming to the motel and would sort it for them. When she arrived she called out "who's the lady who booked the wrong date" and I went into the office where I apologised for having brought her out as she had said to the other people she had a sick child at home. She responded with a harsh "Don't thank me yet, I haven't done anything". I pointed out I had said sorry for bringing her out. She gave me a good telling off for not checking my dates, and went on to say she hated it when people booked through expedia and not direct as she can't do anything about it. At that point I felt extremely humiliated and disrespected as a customer - she eventually gave me a double room - I was travelling with my adult son and she said "too bad, you'll just have to make it work. I left

OK stay, saw no one from the Motel, check in via phone number, no information about where to leave key or indeed any other information about the place.

This centrally located property is a bit older but clean and very comfortable. Had extras such as microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The towels were lovely and soft and there were face cloths for each person!!!! A definite plus!

Good location walking distance to shops and eateries. Room was comfortable however needs to be updated.TV was very small.Reception had limited hours but automated 24 hour check in was available

The place is a little aged but clean. Management are not on-site all day but there is a number to ring. Good for overnight stay and budget price and walking distance to main st.

It is a spacious room and very clean . And a very good bed and room is dark inside

Cindy was a wonderful hostess. Room had a shower tap Leak and she quickly moved us into another room. Ideally positioned on the Main Argyle Street Bus Depot and Train Station. Very tidy town with plenty of Clubs to dine. 20 minutes drive to Silverton.

Decent size room. The lock on the door was almost off and there was nowhere to attach the chain to so it didn't feel very secure

When shower in the bathroom water on flour next couple of hours can’t use the toilet.

Stuff are freindly the room is clean and comfortable close to town

I BOOKED AND PAID FOR A DELUXE ROOM AND i WAS GIVEN A SINGLE ROOM , THE SHOWER ALCOVE WAS SLIPPERY AND IT NEEDED TO BE SCRUBBED,A WATER JUG WAS EMPTY, AND THE TRAFFIC NOISE WAS HORRENDOUS AND IT DID NOT STOP UNTIL 3-30 AM, NOT WHAT YOU NEED FOR TRAVELLING

Our room was clean and comfortable. The only negatives would be it was a little tired; perhaps new blinds/curtains would spruce it up a little. One side of the bed did not have a side table for the phone and drink. Would go back again.

Nice Quiet Motel not far from the centre of town. Close to the shops and restaurants. I had a relaxing stay hear.
