The weekend was perfect. My daughter and I have been going here for over 30 years and this year I brought my 15 year old granddaughter. We had a fabulous time, from walks on the beach, to shopping to dinners. The weather was perfect as well. Can't say enough about this charming inn. If you get the chance, please take the opportunity to stay here.

Lovely place to stay with familily or just as a couple. The service was on point, everybody from the staff was kind and helpfull. The room was cozy and charming. We took our breakfast near the beach in the morning and it was just gorgeous. Would recommend!

Owners are burned out. They lack compassion for their guests and it shows. There are places yoi can stay with that treat your business like a relationship not a transaction.

This is my second stay at the beach resort. Both times were remarkable… The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Checking in is easy, although it is not on the premises. They make it clear and direct you where to go, however. The views from the Inn are breathtaking and most of the Inn is oceanfront. It’s on an extended beautiful beach -Easily accessible to all of the shops and restaurants – a definite stay if you are in the Harwichport area. 5 stars! Oh, and they do provide a very nice breakfast in the morning. The coffee was delicious!!

Overall not worth the high price tag. Dated rooms, very average amenities. Biggest disappointment was no internet; the WiFi is gated by Facebook and if you’re not a Facebook member (and we are not) then you are offline. What’s more frustrating is there is no cell service in the area. WiFi is an absolute MUST in todays world and for a property charging this much money to only offer the poor system it has is really unacceptable.

Property is more like a B&B than a hotel. Our room is a little small for the queen bed and the twin bed. Because the room's window is on the side of the house, there is just a glimpse of the advertised "ocean view". However, there is a full view and access of the beach and the ocean from the breakfast/living area at the rear of the house. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh fruit cup, variety of baked goods and quiche on request. Overall, it is a relaxing two night stay for us.

We stayed 2 nights at the resort on the beach and 1 night at the Inn in town. Both were incredible in their own ways. Private beach at one and beautiful at the other. Loved both places and can’t wait to return to both!!! Staff was incredible.

Wonderful resort! Nice rooms, beautiful private beach, excellent care and service. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. Many great dining choices nearby and much to explore in the Harwich area and the nearby towns. We will definitely be by back!

If you are looking for a spot right on the beach, then the Winstead is the place. Our room was on the first floor and it was clean and descent size. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Their porch and outside dining area are an added bonus.

Firstly they could have informed us in advance that check in is at the inn on Parallel Street rather than at the beach resort. Secondly our room is old and dirty. The whole property needs a renovation. One good thing is that it has its own sliver of beach. I will not be staying here in the future.

The place is beautiful homemade goodies backed for breakfast chairs set up for you on the beach etc. most exceptional however are the staff who preside on site. They are simply unbelievable cannot do enough to enhance your stay. They even sweep the beach!
