This property Azzurra Aparta Hotel is not the best. It is very close to the beach and the night life also SDQ airport is close, that is all that is good about it. The front desk staff are not helpful at all. The rooms are not that new or great. The AC is very low and cannot be adjusted. Do not stay more than two days max.

The place is way outdated and had to many mosquitoes.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. For the price you can’t beat it. I will stay there again. The staff was nice except for one front desk female who was not friendly at all. She did her job but she wasn’t a front desk person at all. The pool got a little noisy but it ended early enough to sleep. Overall great stay.

Me and my husband stayed here our last night in DR. We were looking for a short stay near the airport. Checking in at 6:00pm and leaving at 3:00am for our flight. We wanted to save money and this looked from the pictures like it could be decent. It was AWFUL. It was not safe, they only took cash, the area was completely deserted and had very little dining options. To top it all off no Ubers would do pick ups here so we got a taxi through the hotel. It was very close to the airport, the hotel said the taxi would be very little... The Taxi driver refused to share the price and kept saying don't worry it's a little you have enough... Then he proceeded to charge us $40 US DOLLARS for a 2 mile ride... Save yourself the hassle, spend a little more, and DO NOT STAY HERE.

No WiFi, electricity cutting off constantly, ac was poor. Locks flimsy. Tv hard to figure out water pressure at times poor

We arrived late into our hotel because our flight arrived late. Checked in the hotel at 11 p.m. and had no issues checking in. The front desk doesn't really speak very good English but I already downloaded "Google Translate" on my phone and if I had a question I just typed it on my phone and it would translate it to Spanish. We got situated in our room which had 3 double beds. The room was clean. We only stayed one night which is what I would recommend. Our room did have a small kitchenet off the room which was a plus but we didn't use it. The only downfall was the bathroom drain in the shower didn't really drain properly. If you are staying for one night, it is fine but longer I would not recommend. We did have the continental breakfast which was really good. They were friendly and curious regardless of the small language barrier. It is defiantly one of the nicer hotels in that area. Every other hotel/apartment isn't as nice as this one. I would come back if it was just for one night. We transferred to our resort the next day. Check out was a breeze and thank you again for a great short stay! PS If you don't get a Wifi code during check in, you can ask the front desk. I had to ask with Google Translate but they understood what I was asking.

The Customer service and Staff was Excellent...They were helpful and spoke good English for me to communicate. Breakfast waa Tasty.

Nice staffs but expensive for its conditions. Location in a very bad area, outdated furniture, poor cleanliness, bathroom with broken facets. Not appropriate for family and kids.

The property was ideally situated in Boca Chica. Close to the beach and bars etc. No one in the hotel understands English though, so make sure you take Google Translate on your phone and you will be fine.

It was a very good experience. The service rendered at the hotel was a very good one. Always there for you when you need something to be done. Very nice environment, Good security and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. I will stay in the same hotel when next I visit.

Where can I start!? Wow, I felt like crying when we got there. The owner does not have great skills of communication, we spoke to him when we got there and he barely responded in a rude and careless way. Then he made us wait for his assistant which was adorable! If it wasn't for her we wouldn't have stayed. The location is great, however we didn't know what we were getting into, when visiting Boca Chica. There is sooo much prostitution that it makes you not to want to come back. Going back to the hotel, I will never return there. We where going to leave after we paid because the room that they assigned us was dirty, stinky and no air conditioner. Then we where shown a second room which was slightly better but since It was 3 of us, we didn't stay. At last they assigned us an ''ok'' room, with A/C and much cleaner aspect. Breakfast was a mission, but we didn't get food poison so I guess it wasn't that bad. Everything is out dated and dirty. DO NOT VISIT!
