The location of this place was great! The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The price was right up our alley as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The property and room were perfect! The suite is a one room apartment with a balcony and covered parking is included. It had all the necessities you would need plus it was so close to the beach. I couldn’t have asked for a better place. It is simple with a touch of home.

This neat luttle place is right across the street from Santa Monica. Very clean, large rooms, friendly staff! I definitely recommend!

I was super happy with the way this choice worked out for our recent trip. The property's location was optimal both for walking local restaurants, attractions, and the beach, as well as for driving to our other destinations. The (long term) owner(s) are doing a great job with maintenance and upgrades - the room was clean and updated, bedding was great, and everything worked as expected. Secure, yet accessible parking was a welcome benefit as well.
Another joy was engaging with staff and the actual owner; getting restaurant recommendations, local history, and beach towels.
All that said this is a vintage property, and if you expect the kind of construction that isolates your room from those adjacent, well, you might have to look elsewhere. Hearing others move around was a reminder that we should probably begin our day and enjoy Santa Monica.

The staff allowed us to check in early, which was a big plus, and were all very friendly. Parking was very easy, there were plenty of shops & restaurants in the local area, and it’s so near to the beach (they lend chairs and towels for guests to take down with them). I would say that the property is in a good condition for its age, but the floors inside the room were a bit dirty during our stay.

The biggest advantage of this motel is its location! Just 2 blocks from the Santa Monica beach and on the Main Street lined with shops and restaurants.
The motel has a retro feel which is wonderful. It also means that it comes with some disadvantages though. The AC is very loud and the furniture is outdated.
The reception provides body boards and beach towels which we welcomes very much, great service!

This hotel is wonderfully unique and so enjoyable! Best location, mid-century architecture and furnishings, great staff. Super clean. Memorable visit. This is what you want when visiting LA. We had truly memorable experience. Tom at the front desk is a great guy and we enjoyed meeting him.

We loved our stay at the Sea Shore Motel in early August. We walked to Santa Monica beach and swam - the motel had boogie boards and beach towels. It’s charming and very old, but squeaky clean. The beds were comfy, a/c worked, and it was convenient. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. Thank you!

I booked here for a more budget-friendly option. Staff were friendly, checkin was quick, luggage storage was easy and the air-conditioning was good. While the rooms overall appeared clean, all the linens looked like they needed a goos bleaching and had a yellowed look to them. The pillows were also very lumpy in a way that says they are quite old. That part definitely impacted how I felt about my stay. Location was great and if I stayed here again I would definitely bring my own pillow.

The staff at Sea Shore were very kind and understanding. We booked one night, but decided to stay a second night and they had no problem in accommodating us. The location was safe and it was a quick walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

I travel frequently for business and pleasure. Sea Shore Motel was a pleasant find. My entire family wished we could have stayed longer. Tom at the front desk was friendly, helpful and had the best attitude. The cleaning staff were pleasant as well. Looking forward to staying at Sea Shore again next summer. Thank you all.

I love supporting local businesses and this is just about as local as they come. I feel staying in local family owned hotels gives you a flavor for the area that one may not get by staying in cookie cutter chain hotels. That’s the whole purpose of traveling, experiencing new places. I am glad I found this motel, it is a must if you are staying in Santa Monica!

Great location, helpful staff. Motel is close to many cool places on Main St, but that means you can hear plenty on weekend nights, if you’re not used to city living.

Great location but motel is old, beds are awful, linens yellow, walls paper thin (could hear everything, even person breathing in next room over) and place is in desperate need of remodeling. Not worth the money.

We chose Sea Shore for a few reasons and were very happy with our stay. There is on site parking, and we were able to walk to the beach and Pier as well as a variety of restaurants. Highly recommend.
