The room did appear to be clean. The property is old and run down. Even tho it looked clean, there were things like cracks in walls, 2 of 3 lights not working, and extension cords that made me uncomfortable. but the worst thing was the smell. it smelled like the commercial air fresheners used in public restrooms. Checking the past reviews before I booked, i found them mixed, but most said the room was clean and that’s most important to me. As I said it was clean, but that wasn’t good enough this time. The man who took my reservation went out of his way to give me the fround floor room i requested and I appreciate his helpfulness with that,

The room was older but well kept. I liked the older motel style making parking in front of my room available. The overall feel of the room was like visiting my Mom’s house, which for me was good. Especially appreciate the larger refrigerator and freezer, as we had meds that needed to be stored at both temps.

We came in with a late night check-in travelling from MT to ND and the owner did not have any issues with that. Hotel was easy to locate and we were able to park outside our door. Cute matching quilts on the bed! Looked very homestyle, they even had the heat on for us. The best part was my 4-legged kids got to stay in the room with us!

I liked the way the room had a theme of a town in Norway and a piece of Norway chocolate on the bed side table. The quilts on bed were pretty.

The most comfortable beds I have slept on at a hotel. Nice and quiet too. I never sleep well at hotels and I slept the whole night through. It is an older building, but very clean and well kept.

This is an awesome motel with very nice people. I was talking a lot with them. Each room has a name from a city in Norway. They don't serve breakfast, but they give you a piece of Norway (a small chocolate bar). The rooms are clean, and they even have a store there. And it is a very quiet friendly place. For sure worth the money.

I arrived three hours after they were closed and the owner was still very cordial.

There really wasn't much to actually like. The carpet felt almost tacky even to the point of slimy. I don't think it's been cleaned for quite awhile. Those who live there are up late. The key to access the room actually unlocks the door so unless you're aware of that anyone can walk in. The stairs to go to the 2nd level are steep. The room looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a few months.

Very clean. Hold a slight mold smell in room. Very little noise. Got a good nights rest. Served my immediate needs. Desk clerk was friendly.

Amazing little motel. Very clean. Bed was comfy got a great nights sleep. Owner was friendly. Love little mom and pop places like this they are more like a home than a motel. Will stay here again if I’m ever in the area again!!!

For a economically-priced motel, it was fine. The room did need to be aired out when we arrived. My only complaint was our "neighbor" (who was apparently a long-term occupant). who blared music and went on a foul-mouthed yelling tirade after midnight. I called the owner around 0100, and he did respond by confronting the drunk.

The office was filthy and cluttered. I was worried my room would be bad. The room was clean and had all the amenities i needed.

Newly remodeled room. Lazyboy was awesome. Beds are hard and no hairdryer. Large refrigerator freezer that was cold when i arrived. Air conditioner was turned on, nice to have a cool room on a hot day when i arrived.

It looks like an old motel... but looks can be deceiving....WOW! I got the room that they just finished remodeling... It is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. The owners (husband and wife team) really outdid themselves in this room... They said it took them about 8 months (working some evenings and weekends). I say... WAY TO GO. Once they are done with the other rooms, this motel will be WONDERFUL. I will FOR SURE stop here, when I travel up to visit family each year.

Room had full-size refrigerator & a microwave, which was really nice. When we turned on the A/C unit, we got hit with a cloud of dust! The sheets smelled like sandalwood, which had me coughing, until I covered them with clothes. The diner across the street had fabulous food.

It suited us because all we needed was a place to sleep and be on our way the next morning.

The owners of the motel are really nice, friendly people. The rooms are clean. The bed was firm and comfortable, something I needed for my back. They have nice, new towels. They have video surveillance, which is a plus. Pet friendly. And there's a nice resturant, just across the street.
