We were able to check in early, which was great. Since we just got off from cruise. Check in process was quick. Our room was spacious and comfy. Great neighborhood within walking distance to Pike place and space needle. We will definitely stay here again.

Forrest, Jordan, Kevin, and the rest of the staff were amazing!! So helpful and friendly. Check in was super easy. The rooms were so nice and clean. Loved the bar/bistro downstairs. The snack and beverage selection is the best that I have ever seen at a hotel. The area isn't the best (homeless people very strung out :( very sad), but I never felt unsafe. Will absolutely stay here again in the future. :)

Other then not knowing how to turn down the thermostat the first night and never being able to connect to the WiFi after many many tries. It was a great stay. Super comfy bed and pillows. Shower very nice! Nice spacious room and very clean.

Great hotel in a convenient location for walking around to see the Seattle sites. The lady who checked us in when we arrived at 2am was fantastic and the valet staff was so helpful. Room was huge and very clean.

This is a beautiful hotel, and we especially enjoyed the terrace. Unfortunately, our room was located on the 2nd floor just above an alley, and we heard garbage trucks and other noisy vehicles beginning in the wee hours through 10 am. We were also frustrated because we asked the front desk staff if we could get new towels and have our in-room coffee supplies refilled, and those requests were not honored.

Wonderful stay! The front desk service was excellent! Room was very clean, modern and beds very comfortable. A/C was a bit odd in that it didn’t seem to circle through the room completely, but not a deal breaker by any means. Would definitely come back!

This is a great newer hotel in Seattle. The room was nice, new and roomy. Bathroom was in great condition and the entire experience was very positive. The one downside is the surrounding area is a little sketchy but it’s a short walk to all to Seattle’s attractions.

Entire downtown smelled like piss. Drug addicts everywhere....never again will i stay in downtown Seattle, especially by 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th......

Very convenient location. Walking distance to a lot of places, including pier 66, space needle, pike market, and amazon HQ. The hotel is nice and clean.room is spacious and the interior design is cute. Staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived early so we checked in our luggages and started touring the area, and our room was ready shortly. Will stay again when i visit next time.

We stayed here for a couple of nights prior to going on a cruise. It is conveniently located. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The area is a bit sketchy a block away. We had dinner about 5 minutes away and on the way back we passed homeless and drug users. I would not want to do that walk again. There is a restaurant onsite as well as snacks downstairs if you get hungry. Overall we were comfortable, just be careful which way you walk.

Hotel was very clean and staff was always attentive and accommodating. Area around the hotel was centrally located. Overall great experience. The lounges and bars were very entertaining and had some amazing drinks with Seattle’s best bartender Pedro. Would definitely return.

Modern and exceptionally clean hotel in a great location. Close to major tourist sites and public transit options, and easy to arrange for rideshare pickups.
The beds are spacious and comfortable, and also the size of the rooms are fantastic, especially if you are sharing with a friend or family. The addition of a bluetooth speaker is great, and the TV has modern apps like YouTube, Netflix, etc.
Unfortunately they only offer housekeeping services every other day.

Paid for a room in advance for our Asian family member, and when she arrived the guy who was supposed to help her check in refused to take her card and told her they wouldn’t let her stay. She calls me for assistance, and the guy refused to even speak with me on the phone to get my credit card info. He kept insisting that she couldn’t stay at the hotel and he wouldn’t help. I told her to ask for the manager, and he tried to refuse that as well. However, we stood our ground and waited for a manager to speak with me, at which time she said it was a simple matter of me filling out a one minute card authorization form, which was frankly a small matter. Big take away, the men at the front desk are aggressive toward women and Asians, but are fine with white males. If you’re an Asian or a woman, definitely for your safety don’t go to this hotel.

Super clean and staff is very professional. Surrounding might get weird quickly. I definitely recommend this hotel. Parking can be expensive but you can go in and out and the hotel location is central.

Property was clean and has friendly welcoming staff. We stayed for 4 days and not once did we get our room cleaned. We called about 3 times to request service to get it cleaned and new towels at least for the restroom and trash taken out but no one ever showed up to provide the service.

I was SO impressed with our stay at The Sound. The service was incredible, everyone was so friendly and ready to help, and the hotel was clean and wonderful. Relaxing, quiet, the best ambiance.
