This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The lobby has a bar & was decorated very nice. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Rooms were large & comfortable with a fridge/freezer and a microwave as well as a coffee maker. The bathroom has a huge sunken tub with shower. Such a nice surprise! There were lots of hot breakfast options including made to order omelettes during the week. Service was excellent especially from Victoria who always greeted us in the morning at breakfast. We will stay here again!

We initially were assigned a booked room. The front desk immediately reassigned a new room. The hotel is modern clean breakfast was amazing customed eggs including creps! Staff very very friendly. Walking distance to everything. I will rebook. Wonderful and awesome. Sleeped like a baby clean and quiet. Gym was perfect!

The Ayres hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and best of all…quiet. The staff at the front desk were friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Spacious, clean, comfortable. Great staff. Decent breakfast spread. Convenient nearby restaurants and shopping. I'd absolutely would book again on my next visit.

It was comfortable and clean. We had clean towels daily and beds were remade while out for the day. It’s a small thing but a lot of hotels stopped during Covid and never started back up. My only complaint was the hallways had a weird odor. They were renovating so that may have been it.

Perhaps the best hotel/motel experience we’ve ever had. Everything was in perfect condition, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with omelettes to order, waffle & pancake makers, and a wide selection of good choices… even had regular dining plates and utensils with a spacious dining room. Location was great with shopping & restaurant choices within walking distance in a very safe location. Free, close parking with ample room and driving distance to the SD Zoo, Midway and other attractions within a 30 minute drive. This is our go to location for any future trips to San Diego.

Great hotel, clean and modern. breakfast a bit disappointing. Only 3 hot foods, seasoned potatoes,scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon…and/or an omelette made to order….no croissants or similar. No jam on 3 of 5 mornings. Coffee not the best, no ‘English’ breakfast tea.

It has been wonderful so far! Check in was fast and easy. Our room is very nice. The beds are comfortable. We are looking forward to our free breakfast in the morning.

It is a very nice property. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are all very pleassnt! The breakfast facility was great, very clean and good food. The omelettes were awesome and the staff were very, very friendly. Thank You!

It near a shopping center in a newly developed area. Staff are efficient and friendly. Breakfast is great and the rooms and facilities are clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location near restaurants, shopping and grocery. Room is in good condition. Room and bathrooms very clean. Lobby was very nice. Free breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty of space for sitting. The hotel itself was nice and quiet making the stay very comfortable. Free parking with plenty of spaces.

The parking was free and convenient. Hotel was located within walking distance from food and shops. Heated pool and spacious spa. Free breakfast provided. Overall a great deal in a clean and convenient location.

Very, very loud on 1st floor! People coming in late & shouting down hallway. Can hear *every* step from upstairs neighbor. My bed was broken & made thunking noises whenever I'd move.
Rooms are spacious, as is bathroom. Separate tub & shower! Tub was deep enough to soak in. Microwave in room. Free hot breakfast was nice: eggs, potatoes, bagels and waffles. Noon checkout reigns supreme. Alijah at check in was wonderful: pleasant & informative. Plenty of parking. Lots of awesome eateries in immediate area. Pricey, but nice.

it was my first time staying in this hotel starting from the area so beautiful has a lot of restaurants and shopping center around , the parking it was wide, easy to excess and free , the checkin & the checkout easy & fast , the staff were very friendly, the hotel & the room (5 stars) were so clean the room has a microwave, refrigerator & coffee machine, the breakfast it was good and free , I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I will come back soon.
